The Heian era is fascinating to see. Many scenes and pictures are beautiful and it‘s nice to see characters…
It's exciting, to see a Heian love triangle, even if it's a bogus one, lol. Anyway, I haven't really finished Murasaki Shikibu's works. All I saw was she was telling me about other people, not her. I guess many writers are so secretive about themselves.

K-Drama techniques:
Poor (material or parental) FL, common enemy, ML vs SML, the hidden identity of FL and ML (even though they have enough chances to find out each other's identity)

for a level such as FBB, I'm pretty sure that the amount of money is kinda unmeasurable (hyperbolic). I bet she will be forever in dungeon* unless CPP changes the rules. IDK when will DL and YBY comeback even though the ban is lifted.
*I think she is fine personally but is kinda killed professionally in China. I mean, no camera, No publicity at all.

it looks too much like basic kdrama to my taste. but heian era's appeal is too strong, i'll restrain myself from…
It's a good start though. NHK's taiga drama was sometimes pretty boring with all the talks that you need a strong will to watch it.

romcom vibes, lol. they also deliberately killed Murasaki's mother in the 1st ep as Korean drama did to their FL to gain sympathy from the audience.

The king is such a disappointment. Does not expand the kingdom or consolidate his power. All that killing only…
I bet Korean at those times didn't really have the ambition to conquer other countries. They were lack of population and resources. They are also unlucky to have Japanese and Chinese as their neighbours. Just how many times since ancient times Korean peninsula been invaded?

In an another life, I hope she paid her taxes~ 😭🎵
she already paid her tax anyway.* Many showbiz people had tax problems in China, most of them got banned or cancelled by govt (even if they resolved the original due tax and fine). Meanwhile, some of them could slip away (ofc after paying their obligations), if they were close to CCP. -I read it in some articles- take it with a grain of salt.
*tax matters can be tricky but not hard either. I hope everybody has good knowledge about tax in their respective countries.

I heard a rumor that Yiqi got the broadcasting rights in Japan. But... according to Chinese laws, it is first…
Hu Yixuan is a talented actress. Anyway, whoever replaced YBY is okay. That's not their fault to become a replacement. The bittersweet feeling remains for YBY and all the fans of her/ this drama.

PMY and ZZH's Castle in the time got a broadcasting license in Japan. Or a Japan's company buy the rights. Something like that. I think They are already out on a Japanese streaming platform. I think there is hope with LNF.
As a last resort, LNF will be sold to streaming platforms but only air in foreign countries not in China's sovereignty.

OMG, when I think I bout it. Women in ancient times really poor. They were treated like property. And when they become a widow, are stuck in the middle. They can't move forward to find a new husband because they are obliged to serve in-laws, nor they're able to back to their parental home because they will become burdens. And usually, the in-laws keep the widows in half-assed manner. It can be worse if the widow is childless or having a daughter.
in ancient China, low concubines / tribute women (mostly maid in palace or slaves) of the late king should follow their deceased husband master to the tomb mausoleum. Stay in the mausoleum til death comes to them.
