some kind of military lab. said the purpose is to create biological weapons. I think Manchuria is a perfect place for that kind of disturbing place. The cold weather all year long preserves the bacteria, virus etc. The most important is, it is between mainland China and Korea. They are no shortage of people (common prisoner, political ones, kidnapped ones, etc) who unfortunately became guinea pigs. Also, no need to worry about B3 waste from the experiment. Dump it in the strange land.

1. the immoral act of the patriarch, raped his daughter and then her granddaughter (that could be his daughter!). I knew the patriarchy in Thai is suck sometimes, but it's a rare case.
2. They overused and insulted the reincarnation trope. Lovers (hetero couple) in the past, were reborn as identical twins. They rekindle romance and gender roles as soon as they remember the past. Thus, they form an unthinkable affair, lesbianism and incest?!
No wonder they use 'Brahmin'* as the key people in this drama. Had they used Buddhist monk role here, that would be an insult.

*even though they treat Brahmin like a shaman.

I think I understand now why w3tv dropped it and sold it to pr1m3 instead.

Typical Japan horror. this is not scary, but the story is interesting. Sooo Nakata Hideo's...an open ending movie. This is also has an opportunity to be made into sequels.

When I think about it, most FL from kidnapped-slapped-kiss genre succumb to their captor to protect their beloved sisters or family member. LOL

The remake is bad, IMO. the original is better. They have great chemistry and funny interactions -apart from sexual assault scenes, I skip them though. I think Andrew carries the show all alone, LOL. There are some changes between the original and remake. One think I notice is, the remake states clearly that FL has been trying hard to convince ML that she is not the person whose ML are looking for. But ML is quite stubborn to believe. In the original, FL has no effort to convince ML. Every time he confronts her, FL keeps silent and blames his actions instead. (you have thousands of chances, to tell the truth tho'!)

I bet they had fitting photos around the same time as Tono & Nicha's fitting photos. It took years for the drama to start filming and airing. #sigh Maybe because it was historical fiction drama. And this one, Bomb & Toey's modern drama, only God knows when the project continue.

I have watched 2 eps. It's exactly like the synopsis told. But somehow it's still hilarious.

Oh I see. We are lucky enough if it gets aired in 2024. Post-production including dubbing takes time. There are so many blockbuster dramas ready to push too. I expect it to be aired in Q1-2025. I should forget this drama for one year. LOL

Is that real? Looks like SEA people are keen on dark magic to make them beautiful. I only found special 'tools/ needles' inserted into certain performer's bodies to make them more attractive. That special tools are kinda evil though, they're like a shell of spirits. To a certain degree, it makes the user live uncomfortably. Even on the verge of death, they won't make peace. I mean, to die peacefully, the users should get rid of those special tools from their bodies once and for all.

It reminds me of people fighting physically in the Taiwanese Parliament years ago. I saw it on the news. I am not even a Taiwanese, btw.
