I’m very stressed out about it tbh. I think I’m going to try to watch something else while waiting for everything to finish and then check back on this page and decide whether to dive into the last 6 eps. I don’t think I could bear it if it does not end well 😞

Yeah but that’s the thing about “chemistry” right, I should think chemistry = whenever the 2 leads are on screen at the same time, whatever interaction they are having. Agree about the writing, although I may have been able to close both eyes and write it off as fluffiness had there been actual sparks between the leads.

I wasn’t intending to comment about this show but wanted to say I agree with you wholeheartedly. YAMG ruined me 😭 was curious about this one because of Gina Jin and hype. Can’t even remember which episode I made it to before deciding I couldn’t go on. I’m not sure why everyone says the chemistry is awesome between the leads, not sure if we were watching the same show.

Yea omg I loved how cute they were tgt, which was what propelled me through to this last episode. I also agree, it’s probably set up as a death/coma but maybe they thought it would be unpopular and decided to add on the Europe thing last minute? But it was just so confusing!

I didn’t like this FL actress in perfect and casual so was hesitating but will give it a shot. I totally share your sentiments about FIYS FL (I couldn’t complete FIYS because I just couldn’t continue) but I really enjoyed xukai and his character so I’m looking forward to this one!

Ikr! Cry fest in part 2! Although tbh I find I’m oddly zen about all this relationship angst and revenge/ massacre the couple are headed for - for me the real tragedy is if the insult to all mothers out there never gets what she deserves by the end

I’m on like ep 5/6 and wanted to come here to ask if her horrible excuse of a mother (a) dies a tragic death or (b) realizes her absolute failure as a mother, repents and regrets by the end of part 1, but I see it was wishful thinking on my part seriously

You’re welcome! I also like the ML and FL individually and they were so cute together! Unfortunately that wasn’t enough to save the ridiculousness of the later episodes.

I’m on episode 1, heard so many good things about this drama but I’m finding the ML super unappealing. I can’t get past the strange hair and crappy suits (he’s supposed to be a hot shot lawyer) and his face is annoying me - does it get better and is he the type of character that grows on you? Very inclined to drop but seems like I’ll miss out on a great story from all comments here.

48 ok guys last episode is a total mess, it makes absolutely no sense. It’s not ambiguous, it’s more like just plain confusing!? After ML gains back his company he crosses the road to propose and literally gets knocked over by a car while crossing the road, OMEGALUL. Our third car accident this drama and this time it looks bad, lots of blood. And then the show just stops making sense, because apparently ML survives and goes to Europe to work without FL even though he was in the midst of proposing when the accident happened. Must have suffered some brain damage. We get a time jump, get some rando scenes of supporting characters and cut to a dream sequence where ML proposes but FL wakes up and is still all emo and pining for him. Ok so he died? But wait! She walks around rando neighborhood and comes across a flower shop, and there he is! ML has apparently returned without telling her. And then he finally proposes and they hug, and we get a whole lot of flashbacks ending back in the earlier dream sequence where I admit she does have a really nice dress. THE END.

2 FL gets job in ML’s company as a salesgirl
4 FL meets ML in person and discovers his real personality is bad
6-7 ML asks FL to assist him with an exhibition and exhibition is sabotaged
8-10 FL works as ML’s assistant and they get closer. They hate each other’s guts and fight all the time.
11-13 Sabotage at work and DD is blamed
17-18 ML takes part in a competition and FL discovers his sickness
19-20 our mc is bickering and falling for each other. This was the high point of the drama for me.
21-22 Sabotage 2 in which FL is blamed again. End of 22 the main antagonist of the first half (besides Mo Nan) exits
23 company retreat, FL confesses to ML
24-26 main couple is almost together
27 fire! No one is hurt but ML blames himself for not being able to save FL and rejects her. Pffft.
30 second couple gets tgt
31-33 no developments, ML is still rejecting FL
34-35 they get together!! Please stop watching now.
36 I think this is where the ‘real’ baddie appears. Things go downhill from here.
38 SML threatens ML to make FL break up with him for his sake
39 FL breaks up with ML and I’m so over this drama. Rando bad stuff happens to company
41 ML in car accident! It’s not serious. SML forces FL to pretend to marry him so ML’s colour blindness returns permanently. Most ridiculous episode apart from the last ep, which also involves a car crash.
42 ML runs away (!!??!) and rando bad stuff happens
44 FL finds ML after searching for a year, they’re starting over again
45 ML returns to company, SML is trying to redeem himself by working against the real baddie. There is no redeeming this guy tho
46-47 ML gains back his company
