I honestly don't remember. But, there were fight scenes when they rescued Donovan from being drugged/sexually harassed.

I like this, a feel-good drama. I was entertained and smiling in many of the couple scenes. The relationship between ML and FL is mature, anchored in true love, respect and understanding. Love the ML voice, added in making him appear so calm, confident, and mature. Both are levelheaded.

Though the plot is getting serious, each episode still has very funny moments. I burst out laughing at the glowing scene with chief secretary.

A major issue for me -- how can they just brush off the drugging of and sexual harassment towards the ML?

First 15 mins of Ep 1 and I get so frustrated -- what's with people ( in this case, Mook) that cannot talk? Why can't she just shout out the truth? Why just take in insults and slaps quietly? So frustratingly unrealistic.

Do you mean Itazura na Kiss (and all other adaptations) and A Love So Beautiful? The female leads in these dramas are 'not so bright' and chasing the MLs. So I am glad that in this drama (Time and Him are just right), the FL is smart.

So far, so good. I like the leads and the other characters. So happy to watch a female lead in an Itazura-like or ALSB-like drama that is smart and talented. Promising actors, I think WJT has the charm and of course, the cute smile to be an IT ML if given the chance. I was thinking of who he reminds me of, he kinda looks like a young Mark Prin (Thai actor).

I am liking this so far. There are LOL funny scenes.

He knew that FZJ has been really anxious of what LX would do, and GJH fueled that anxiety by implying that LX might do something, and then he also mentioned that LX has been busy with his sister (this gave FZJ ideas). And this led to LX's sister's death. After the death, when LX was extremely sad and mad, he keeps stressing to LX that FXJ has something to do with it (that it was FXJ's fault). And this led to LX's revenge/violence. So, GJH orchestrated this, and of the 3 of them, he was the only one unscathed.

Ah, so the writers made Gao's character worse in the drama but followed his ending in the novel.

Love this drama to bits too, but not super satisfied with Gao's comeuppance.

And I think she intentionally did it in front of GJH to show him, in-person, that she cannot be threatened and cannot be used to blackmail LX. She did not really need to go to GJH for the video, FSM forwarded it to her the night before.

She was hit by a truck in the suburbs while talking to LX on the phone. Indirectly caused by FZJ who was instigated by GJH.

For romantic scenes: I like the blue rose scene and the I love you scene (at L&P).
For non-romantic: I really liked LX's response during the L&P press conference when he said to Gao -- not give, but return.

That Gao had a happy ending, and that he only got karma in a sense with the cancer, but he was 'cured or recovering' from his illness, living with the love of his life, and still has a company.
I wanted him to suffer consequences for his actions. Like direct consequences or punishment for all that he did. He did a lot of very bad things, among others:
(1 ) He instigated the violence between LX and FZJ by fueling FZJ's anxiety about what LX might do, and fueling LX's sadness and anger after his sister's death. This not only resulted to LX's sister's death but also LX's imprisonment and to FZJ losing his eye. And, ZY's depression as well.
(2) He stole L&P! He even taunted LX while in prison.
(3) He made many smaller gaming companies collapse by stealing their ideas and copying their games. He copied Invincible General and embarrassed Dong's team in promotions.
(4) Even with a terminal illness, he set-up ZY for a scandal to threaten LX (and basically, to get the source code for free).
(5) He abused XLN - emotionally and physically.

I agree that LX and ZY should forgive him for their own peace of mind, but still there should be consequences for Gao. I mean, paying 55M is not enough for all these! It's unfortunate that he got sick, but I do not count that as direct punishment for his actions.

But, don't get me wrong, I love this drama! Though not the most innovative plot, the execution, casting, and chemistry are top-notch.

What I did not love about the ending (in spoiler):

Yes. LX liked ZY first. I think during the show (ZY monologue), he was already fascinated with her. Maybe not yet romantically 'liked' her, but she was special as he was willing to spend his precious time listening to her. But from the first day of school, he has been curious about her given that she is the daughter of the one who punished him and the 'thoughtful' princess in the 'fairy tale' scene he witnessed, that offered him an umbrella.

Ah, so it's either he proposed after the wedding or the marriage scene is an alternate in lieu of the proposal scene.

I am just thinking where to insert the deleted/cut proposal scene. It is nighttime and they are wearing the same clothes as the wedding scene. So, would it make sense for the proposal to come after the wedding? Or maybe, he proposed at night and then they went directly to the marriage bureau without changing clothes?

Same. I assumed my own translations (and interpretations) in some subs. It helps a bit that I do understand some Chinese but still, I would want to re-watch with better, more accurate translation in terms of meaning and nuances.
