I am glad that Lee Seung Gi is 'fighting back' and exercising his rights. This can open the eyes of other celebrities/talents. If they can do this to someone as big a STAR as Seunggi, it is not farfetch to assume that they are doing this to others as well.
I kept repeating the kiss scenes in the trailers to take note of their clothes. Then each scene I check what they are wearing anticipating if it's the kissing day. The leads are so good in portraying youth in love.
I enjoyed this, I liked how the leads acted out the lead characters. Hometown scenes were beautiful with the homestay, vineyard (with unending supply of hanging grapes), and plantations. I am not a fan of the FL, but somehow she made it work. The FL character was not annoying to me because of how Esther acted her out, she fits the role. VZ is good, I liked him better in the latter half when he was actively pursuing the FL.
Like many commenters before me, I skipped most of the secondary CP scenes -- plot is so so, actors/acting I did not particularly like, and unnecessary to the drama. This could have easily been a 24-episode drama without (or shortened) 2ndary CP arc.
I’m struggling to understand what is so appealing about Fang
Me too, other than she is pretty. She is gloomy, always sulking, her personality is frustrating. I guess she triggers some kind of 'protective instinct' among men, especially arrogant men.
I enjoyed this, better than average. Like other dramas, particularly lakorns, there are really frustrating scenes or characters but overall, I think it captures a lot of challenges teens encounter. Among the 5 friends, the FL is the least likeable. She is gloomy, her general situation is just full of sadness. I think it showed pretty well how a teenager in love would think that 'this is it, this is forever' but they actually have not seen the broader world. It showed how, when exposed to more experiences and people, feelings can change or can be swayed -- this can be true for older adults, how much more for teens. The situations they chose to show how the feelings of the ML changed are good and relatable. Somehow I did not hate the ML, I felt and understood his dilemma. In their relationship with the FL, I felt he was the only one exerting effort, sacrificing and always giving. In college, he experienced being a recipient of care in a relationship, he was taken care of, a more balanced, give and take relationship with an independent woman.
OK, how can the ML not recognize his girlfriend after only 6 years? There is even no big change in her appearance, and they have supposedly known each other since they were very young!
i’ve said it many times and i’ll say it over and over again. Mario and Yaya’s chemistry is MAGICAL!! Still…
Totally. Their chemistry kept me going. I think Mario is so good in portraying someone in love, I can feel Kla's love for Kim. My heart ached every time he looks at Kim with longing. I did not really like Yaya's character much, but they looked so good together.
I see Park Seo Joon in the ML, certain angles and expressions. So far, I am liking the pacing and the CP chemistry. I wished the episodes are longer, each ep is not even 10 minutes.
The source material is good, could have potential but the acting (and maybe the directing) was not good. Could be better with different set of actors. The FL is supposed to be a college student, but acting like someone from primary school. Hard to like/love the ML too.
I watched some "fell for the one who killed my fiancé(e)" stories but I was surprised by the events in this one.…
I agree, a bit unexpected in a good way. My immediate thought when I read the intro synopsis was -- ohh it's Kleun Cheewit 2.0, reversed. Fingers crossed that we get a good one in this one too!
Liked the first episode. I like that they devoted a whole episode showing us their lives before the accident and ensuing revenge and chaos, establishing some backgrounds enough for us to understand where the characters' actions are coming from . Production is not cheap-looking and cast is good-looking -- Gina is gorgeous, James Ji's face still innocent and clean-looking and getting smaller it seems (lol). Peach is not acknowledged in the MDL cast list even as guest, so it was a nice surprise to see him (I did not watch any trailer). I can still see Khaning in Enjoy, she's so pretty.
Would have been an OK watch with potential, some scenes made me smile. The lead actors are good but the character of the FL is too much. There are other ways of making her a source of joy for the ML without making her so meddlesome, over-the-top outspoken, oftentimes brainless to the point that I get second hand embarrassment. She was not amusing anymore after the first few eps.
