“Vee as a character has literally zero redeeming qualities.”
YES! That’s why I couldn’t stop laughing when Vee managed to piss everyone off at the bar in episode 3. Boy got punched AND slapped and it hasn’t even been three minutes into the whole episode LMAOOO
P’New, the director of UWMA, tweeted during Win’s birthday. He greeted the character, tagged Boun and Prem, and said that they’ll see them next year for Hemp Rope the series. Lazy Sheep, the novel author, further confirmed it on the replies.
it's been 24 hours but i'm still pissed over the finale. the only logical thing to do? proceed to this page, read the comments and i am now happy again.
i love how some comments on twitter think that people hated the finale because of the lack of skinship. some people actually hated the finale because the writing and editing are a mess, luvs.
and lets not even talk about the (nonexistent) romantic chemistry between sarawat and tine because they looked like bros lmaoooo
Kiritani Mirei and Shohei Miura may not have ended up together in Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto (2016), but they did in real life and tied the knot in 2018. And now she's pregnant with their first child! She announced it in her Instagram account last February with a photo of them together: https://www.instagram.com/p/B8G-V3Zhv49/ ♡
I obviously loved episode 8 for the Tine and Sarawat moments, so I'll be listing down the things I did NOT like.
1) Tine's friends trying to straighten (manly) Tine up. They kept insinuating at the beginning that something was going on between Tine and Sarawat, so they seemed pretty supportive. Now that Sarawat finally confessed his true feelings, they suddenly aren't having fun with the fake dating and are opposed to the relationship. This mindset is like: it's all fun and games until homosexuality comes up.
2) Man trying to catfish Type. Catfishing will never be fine.
3) Fast paced, which can be attributed with choppy editing. And let's be honest, nothing really much happened in this episode in terms of plot development. I'd say this episode is more about Tine's character development (e.g. choosing Sarawat over anything else, slowly accepting his feelings, etc.)
Thanks for the article! Haven't finished season two yet because I found the cases and their treatment to Daimon quite repetitive, but reading both of your comments make me wanna finish it!
Also: I recently watched the Confidence Man JP (2018) and Nagasawa Masami had to pretend to be a doctor in one of the episodes. The show legit parodied Doctor X, right from the music down to Daimon's famous catchphrase. So fun!
Oh wow, I totally forgot about the show. I was already in drama land when the plans for an American “adaptation” was announced. So yes, I watched it as soon it premiered, I waited for a new episode every week... and I followed the whole cast and crew fiasco... until its abrupt cancellation.
The fact that the female lead was replaced not once or twice, but thrice just speaks how much of a trainwreck it was behind-the-scenes. The overall quality reminded me of our movie projects back in high school. I didn’t hate it, because there was no expectations to begin with. Lol.
Someone commented about her different characters below and there are a lot of personalities mentioned: https://kisskh.at/51207-my-girl#comment-3592389
