To those who are disappointed with how comedic and “childish” the story is, the premise is completely that of a chick flick. It’s quirky, fun, clichéd and direct to the point!
The female lead ending up in North Korea after a paragliding accident... you gotta admit that even that is crazy for a non-supernatural drama.
All the negative reviews made me watch the movie with no expectations but I loved it! To sum the movie up: more dialogue, less action. More emotions, less bloodshed.
Also, the cast did great! Kuroshima Yuina was my favorite. Her character was batshit scary when she started talking about her dad and the family business.
hi, just started watching the drama. do you guys know around what episode will the story finish telling what happened 16 years ago and go back to the present?
I took up an art appreciation course last year and it opened a whole new perspective when I watched something airing that time (aka Life on Mars). That drama also used warm (past) and cool (present) tones which really showed the difference on the male lead's life in both timelines. The colors amplified his moments, and I think this helped the viewers in understanding that kind of ending. Anyways, I never gave focus on Rurouni Kenshin's color palette before so I might as well rewatch it some time (which is totally fine since it's a great series)~
Hahahaha, what a fucked up story.
Hope it helps if someone wants to watch the deleted scene with hardsubs!
