I guess they just prefer a one-dimensional character more than a character who has different layers. I, myself prefer the latter as they offer more enrichment to the storyline rather than making it plain furthermore such type of versatility is more interesting compared to the classic cold male lead.

Finished watching episode 30 and the scene where the maid servant of ML's mother tried to recall her memories with regards to the letter caught my attention for how wonderfully it was executed. Such a refreshing scene, rather than a simple flashback the type of creativity put solely onto this scene alone stood out for me.

She is too blinded by love, but I find it disrespectful of her, Dou Zhao has been her long time friend the one who helped her and treated her with kindness and she knows how Dou Zhao loved Song Mo but then she defended that evil douche punished one of her friend for the deceased evil father. That better be the case!

Yes! Didi's comedic skills are greatly highlighted here and am loving it as well. You're not alone as I loved his character in LFBAD because of that sole reason too. I didn't notice he was here too, it must be fate but glad to see a mini reunion between them.

It felt so sudden to me how song mo's younger brother is suddenly going up against him when they used to share a brotherly-bond. He knew their dad was evil, why would he go follow his footsteps then. I don't like his character and along with that girl Ansu irritated me.

Lester Lin's performance in both these dramas are impressive. He is a promising young actor. His character in MJTY remains my fave but I thought he did a fairly splendid job here as well. Idk either but it seems ratings had been fluctuating lately even for other dramas.

I don't mean this in a bad way but this is my first time encountering a fellow drama watcher who has keen eyes for details of a drama and someone who appreciates not just the actors or the story but the production team as well. Once again, thank you for this explanation. I thought the same about that exact scene you had pointed out, it was a splendidly done fight scene and now I imagined what you had just explained about "one shot". It must have been so challenging for the actor and crew to get that perfect shot. I also love the romantic scene shot at the boat between the leads. The one were the FL's veil (?) was covering them.

there is a lot more detail that goes into the hug between zyz and wx, sadly it was cut short while the actual filmed scenes highlights more of their affectionate moment, gjm really wasted so many good materials in this drama.
