He is older than her. I remember that they celebrated his 18th birthday before she turned 18. And she calls him big brother. And I feel like it would have been mentioned somehow in the show if they were the same age.

I loved him so much back when all he wanted was her. But then when he decided to become king that meant he would need to have multiple concubines. Even if she became one of those concubines she would just be one of his women and he would never truly be hers + there would be a queen above her in rank and importance. We know that he was destined to be king and that things were always supposed to work out that way but it's still so sad. I wish it would have had a happy ending. I hate sad endings :(

Exactly! They must have known each other for a long time and been through a lot together to create that much trust. I wonder if Jin Man learned sign language to be able to communicate with Honda or if he already knew it for some reason.
