Nops this isn't the right forum for it. Majority of the commenters have a bias against Luke, stemmed from the novel character. They can't differentiate between the book & the drama adaptation character.

Luke is rude, and unfortunately, that really is part of his personality. Overtime he has made a genuine effort But at the same time, effort doesn’t automatically make the rudeness okay. I don’t think anyone can honestly say that being treated rudely has absolutely zero psychological impact on them.
That said, rudeness can be subtle, or it can be obvious. Rudeness can be kept between the two or it can be an encouraged phenomena for others to adopt. So, if my boyfriend adopted a female dog, gave her my name, and suddenly the whole world is going around saying, “Hey, what’s the name of the bitch?”—and the answer is always my name….

Because if you have the emotional capacity to formulate a plan, gather evidence, involve HR, and fight for yourself—(which is commendable, the whole audience, including Luke & team would only applaud, #total respect)—then at some point, if this man is genuinely your partner, shouldn’t he exist somewhere in your emotional universe too?
She doesn’t owe Luke disclosure as a victim. But as a person in a relationship, the complete absence of Luke from her thoughts, decisions, and support system says something about the relationship itself.
So yes, don’t blame the victim. But let’s also not pretend that being someone’s partner means being their convenient romantic accessory .
Before this drama, I honestly never thought people could be so blinded by words. No wonder we have so many con artists, scammers and malicious people hurting people with their sweet talk.
The real problem is the lack of communication, because that’s where toxicity starts. Luke isn’t God—he doesn’t magically know what Flora is thinking, so of course he’s going to speculate, make assumptions, and draw conclusions based on what he knows. Once our girl actually talks to him and gives him the full picture, he’s consistently willing to listen, reconsider, and keep an open mind. Amazing how an actual conversation can accomplish what mind-reading apparently can’t.

The makeup artist for To Love and Cherish needs to be put on a very, very long vacation from the entertainment industry.Because what on earth was done to these two leads?
Both leads are extremely handsome and beautiful, and having followed the ML in his previous dramas, I know exactly how incredible he normally looks on screen. So no, the problem is definitely NOT him. The problem is whoever decided that his natural, gorgeous appearance needed to be replaced with unnaturally pitch-black hair, a bizarre partition, and a giant blob of white paint masquerading as makeup. Sir, your face did absolutely nothing to deserve this. 😂
And Bua! I have absolutely adored her in all her previous work. She is stunning, expressive, and has such a lovely screen presence. Yet somehow the makeup team managed to turn her into a human whiteboard, complete with that incredibly strange, flat hairstyle across the front of her head. At times, she looked completely unlike herself.
And apparently, the makeup philosophy for this entire drama was: WHEN IN DOUBT, MAKE EVERYONE WHITE. 😂 Because it wasn’t just the leads. Practically every character seemed to receive the same excessive whitewashing treatment.
Can we please move past the idea that making everyone several shades lighter automatically makes them more beautiful? It doesn’t. Please embrace people’s natural beauty and the richness of different skin tones. Makeup should enhance someone’s features, create a particular character aesthetic, and complement the story — not erase the person’s natural complexion.
And then we have the camera work. 😩 The angles were so bizarre that even when these two stunning people were finally sharing a frame, somehow neither of them was allowed to actually look their best. I came for these leads, and the production seemed determined to hide them behind strange angles, questionable styling, and unfortunate makeup.
Honestly, what an injustice to two absolutely gorgeous and talented individuals.
The saddest part is that I KNOW how spectacular both of them can look because I’ve seen them in their other dramas. So every time I watched this, I kept thinking:
Who looked at these two and thought, “Yes. This is the final look. Perfect. Don’t change a thing.”? 😂
The leads are not the problem. Their talent isn’t the problem. Their looks certainly aren’t the problem.
The styling, makeup, hair, and camera work were fighting for their lives to sabotage them — and unfortunately, they were winning. 😂
