Why was the series called a frog if there were no frogs?
It is based on an old Korean saying which translates to "A frog dies from a carelessly thrown stone". It means that lives are impacted by the actions of others even without them being intentional. The victims in this drama (AKA frogs) weren't targeted initially, someone was targeting someone else and they got hit because they were in the way.
So this drama tells me that aggravated assault in two cases and kidnapping are not enough to get arrested in South…
She also slammed into a stopping car in front of a police station causing its driver to be hospitalized. Not only they did nothing and she walked like it was nothing, but one of the policemen who witnessed it, ended up going out with her. It is ridiculous how she does everything out in the open with no repercussions. Like stuffing a woman inside a suitcase could be considered self-defense.
it's not their imagination and it's good...well, but it's your opinion, sure
It is their imagination. I'm referring to all the dreams they have, while asleep and while they are awake, because nothing else happens outside the dreams. They are only running around.
Boring... Can't believe they got movie A-listers to just roam around in the same place and stare at nothing. I'm halfway through and all the events are in their imagination. I like dramas where there is intensity with a big final reveal, but this one wasn't intense at all. Nothing eerie happens. All murders are done behind the scenes. They are only bleeding from their nose or their hands. The only creepy character is hardly creepy, every now and then she smiles weirdly, and have a red "mukbang". She looks so fragile, she can be killed with a spoon, but she acts like she is indestructible.
This is a reference to an old episode. This wasn't a preview of a future episode. It is made to look like this…
The scarecrow was a part of the episode though. He was the one chasing the members. In the earlier episode, the members were invited to Gujeon village, which is the "new" name of the village in this episode after the scarecrow was revived. They were chased by the scarecrow at that time. When they show the scarecrow at the end of this episode, the caption says "and that is how the story of Gujeon village started". Meaning this is how the events in the earlier episode started.
I'm starting to consider movies with ratings below 8/10. I watched a few and I liked them a lot. Now that I think of it, I can't believe I trusted ratings here. I never trust them in dramas, but for some reason, I thought movies' rating were genuine. This one was pretty good. I cried, laughed and enjoyed the musical.
Il Mare is my favorite Korean movie. I love letter exchanging movies and I cannot get enough of them. Il Mare, The Lunch Box, You've Got Mail, Mary and Max...etc. I'm in every time there are two strangers exchanging messages. It is so interesting to watch two strangers connect on a deep level without seeing each other. This one though was done badly in my opinion. There were tons of possibilities they could've gone with, but they chose the most boring one. The connection between the two characters in my opinion was more literal than emotional. It's still watchable, I just thought it could've been way better.
I don't agree on the part about the relation between intelligence and not getting over relationships easily or fighting for them. On the contrary, I think avoiding getting tangled up in fights you're probably not going to win, and avoiding making the same mistake again of falling for the wrong person is a sign of intelligence. Her need of an intimate connection with another human-being will probably win eventually. P.S. You switched the two actresses. Ha Ji Won played the main lead's friend in 2000. The other actress played the other character with the broken legs.
If you compared it with other Netflix movies, it's a 10/10 Too bad I have to compare it with other movies as well. It's a good watch, highly entertaining. Exactly what you want from an action-comedy.
Not my cup of tea. It is too sad of a subject to combine with slapstick comedy. I don't mind dark comedy, but I'm bothered with the slapstick, not the comedy. Of course, I'm not saying it's wrong to do this, just that I'm personally not into it. Also, it felt like an episode of a drama. I would've been fairly disappointed if I paid for it. This is not what I expect from a movie.
They are strangers. She offered him chocolate, then proceeded to follow him everywhere. There is no implementation…
I didn't "twist her intentions". I clearly said I didn't think they were bad. At least not in "that way" since she is clearly bigoted, but not a pervert. I'm not sure where you got their ages from, but he looks around the student's age, and he is supposed to be young based on his background story, but she looks around thirty, and thirty is a long way from a student's age. She is at least 10 years older than him. If you cannot see that giving a chocolate bar to a stranger minor and asking them to sit next to you is a predator's move, then I can't help you. It doesn't mean that everyone who does it is a predator, it just means that a predator typically uses it, and just because she uses a predator's move doesn't mean she is a predator, and just because she is a woman doesn't mean she cannot be one.

We have different definitions of pushy and weird then. I wouldn't bother if I was a teen and another teen sat next to me trying to be my friend, even if I thought she was annoying, clingy and talkative, I would still think it's less weird than an older guy offering me a chocolate bar to sit next to him, then appearing next to me when I sat alone on an airplane. That would be extra weird. Again, not saying her intentions were bad, but I don't think it looks good in this day and age after all we know now, that is all.

We know now, but she didn’t, so it is quite weird. The villain in this story appeared as a nice poor young kid at the airport. She didn’t need to protect the student from a boy around his age just because he was poor and had an accent. She on the other hand is an adult who is not his mother. Anyone who was forced to hold a bomb should be protected, not just minors, but before that, that boy didn’t need protection. That is like if someone saw a random person walking and they called the police on him thinking he is a gangster. Then when he is caught later on, in an unrelated crime, they say “See? he was a bad guy. Good thing I called the police that time when he did nothing”. That would be outrageous 😂
This made my blood boil. Even though I already knew how it ended, it still managed to get to me. I'll stop watching Hwang Jung Min for a while. I have to forget his blood boiling portrayal of a very awful character.
For those who have watched this movie, please i need some confirmation: what is the connection between that lavish…
They are strangers. She offered him chocolate, then proceeded to follow him everywhere. There is no implementation of weird things though. They probably thought it would be perceived as her "motherly" instincts kicking in, but as a woman around her age, I think it is pretty weird of her to think that random minors who hit puberty are still in need of motherly love from total strangers. That boy would've easily misunderstood her intentions.
