Episode 27: This is a great opportunity to understand what trauma can do to us. You want to escape, forget, and be distant from the pain you're feeling now, so everything you want and dream will freeze or dissolve.
Episode 13: Yi Fan's life really molds her trauma, habits, and distance. We cannot blame her for being like that. What I love about her character is being reserved. But we can see her progress; she kind of opens up with Si Quiao a little. Sang Yan... ahhhh... this guy.... I love a lead that takes care of her love without expecting anything in return, and he values her space well. It is a good reminder for us to value our boundaries and shame on how we interact with others.
Is the ML's child his biological child or adopted, and was he in love with her sister?
Yes. It's his biological child. His marriage was arranged by his parents. So maybe he was not really in love with her sister. It's like having a partner, not a lover.
This drama has the perfect amount of romance. Their interaction, hints, and the romance at the end really fit…
People are drawn to a story such as having romance. I agree, but it's just a part of the whole. Since I finished it, the whole drama is a joke if they will show too much romance despite the scenario. The FL is broken and filled with resentment, while the ML is occupied with hiding his tracks, attempting to save his entire family, and battling an incurable illness. If the viewers expect too much romance, the entire plot will collapse.
Too many themes? I disagree. It clearly shows that the plot would be the revenge of the FL even in their trailer. In addition, in the first few episodes, it clearly shows that all of them are a red flag; hence, it would be a clown to insert too much romance.
Having that decent amount of romance, showing how the FL was falling slowly, and when she learned that she was manipulated, her reactions and actions fit what a normal person would feel. The ML, on the other hand, shows that his priority is to protect his family, and even if he has feelings for the FL, he cannot abandon his family entirely, but it demonstrates how he also cares for the FL; that is why he helps her to survive.
The confession scene in the prison is far more touching and romantic, which makes all the waiting worthy. They also wrapped it nicely. Showing how the ML surrenders to her and the FL understands her feelings and values her time with him.
Gu Yu: From now on, I'll check all your contracts.
Ahhhhh... These two... I love this duo so much. Maybe because this is what I want in a relationship.
You need time to find your inner peace.
Sang Yan... ahhhh... this guy.... I love a lead that takes care of her love without expecting anything in return, and he values her space well.

I am really savoring every episode.
