No worries p. Empress ki was a lot heavy than this. This is more on strategic game. A very interesting one.. as many have said, this is the best historical ever.. No one can compared.

It hurts that Nirvana in Fire was not on the top 10 most popular dramas.

Amazing observation that most of the viewers were into modern than historical dramas. I think the length of the episodes and sad endings was a big factor. Most viewers also focus more on romantic stories and they stay away from the political plot.

I can relate to the untamed and eternal love which I can't get past in the first episode. I love political and intrigue dramas so I'm drawn to a plot-driven even it means that not much of a romantic scene and the happy ending was almost to none. that's why I despised it when they sacrificed the flow of the drama just to have a happy ending.. Well, this is just my opinion.

yeahh.... as much as I love the AOY couple it looks like they will not continue their love story and Park Eunbin's character died was confirm.. but like you I am still hoping that they can still show their love story but we need to wait Sin Seung Won comeback after his issue.

We need to understand how she grew up.when she met ZSC she’s almost marriageable.
So her values will not change that easily. She definitely will be a damsel in distress. I think the point of the story is to understand their decisions. Just like ZSC, he is capable to get his love but he chose not to for the sake of the peace in their country.
