that's absolutely okay! at first they didn't seem to have much chemistry for me but I liked how natural and sweet they turned out to be. Their sweet moments do give huge smile to my face.

Okay guys finished it finally! And I must say it's been a sweet ride. Loved it. :) We can reduce all the dramatic subplots and focused on alcohol sobriety journey more, the relationship issues and social commentaries on last 4 episodes and it'd made this drama much much better. But nevertheless, it's been fun and sweet and heartwarming. I'd recommend this to someone who loves drama with seasides, annoying but heartwarming communities, and friends to lovers trope. This has better execution than your some overrated high-budget shows.

I think while I agree we do not need the dad subplot, I loved how the writer still tied it up with how the leads never leave each other's side and holding the other umbrella every single time. What a mature and sweet relationship.

Solid 8. They've also wrapped up pretty well, and I hoped more from the second couple but the good vibes this drama gives is enough for my enjoyment from day to day taxing activities.

I swear I don't understand the many negatives on this show – and I guess some viewers do need to know how to take a hint from the drama's atmosphere and setup to know if a drama is aiming to be a serious documentary about alcoholism, slice of life or if this is gunning to be an A drama. This is not aiming to be an A or A+ drama, it's B romcom at best, maybe a B-, but it's got a heart and sometimes that's enough for many to enjoy it.

I agree this is better than love next door xD i think this has more natural writing than that show :) if only the writer know how to highlight slice of life more this would've been really fun. Can't believe people think a drama with not perfect characters automatically makes it bad lol

episode 13 fcked me up...

i'm so honestly irritated to see this news on almost all her projects. We definitely could use more positivity, moon chae won is doing great and has amazing works – better to watch/rewatch her works instead of the negativity spam. she'll act again, it's just that she needs a good script.

Viu's so late with uploading episode 9... Anyway, this has been such an awesome treat for 8 episodes and whether it'll live up to its own awesomeness for the last 4 episodes, I don't care. It's such a feel-good drama and I've loved all its shenanigans! Character interactions are definitely good and bestfriend to lover trope is so naturally executed.

love her and happy for her – but what in the world who did her makeup and styling? What's the Hollywood obsession with that kind of viva look?? She's asian for goodness sake and they styled her like an american rapper.

You can take this in a different perspective – she was in love with her fiance. She planned everything for him. She loves him, then he cheats. She mourns the relationship. Then she met again her bestfriend who seems like her first love too – he was very caring and he was a very important person in her life and he came back. So the feelings reignited again.

She didn't think of him lovingly while she was with his fiance, but she now thinks of him lovingly because she's allowed and free to do so.

What is Park Kyung Hye's role in this? Hopefully it's not comedy, because while she's really good at it – I hope to see her with some serious role hehe.

Okay, I've found something that fits the bill – Tomorrow With You (after ep 4 they are a married couple up to the end – of course this one has conflict as well but their chemistry was off the charts)

Okay I've watched ep 11 and I cried at the final scene with Do-hyeon and his mom. I think it's also nice that they tied up his issue of abandonment with the hardships that came with being a single mother because of society.

I also love love love the scene with Do-hyeon, Min-ho and Jeong-suk together. The conversation that Geum-hui and her husband had was also well done.

It's such a nice episode overall and again a sensible one.

I understand some didn't fancy such storyline, and I'd agree that they could've also explored other storylines they already set up such as Mrs. Heo's husband (might be nice to see her being freed from her husband, etc) – it is not much an issue from me because the previous subplots were handled sensibly as well, but it'd be much nicer if they could've also tied those things up.

Also props to Deong-gu (Juri's son) just being super duper cute this episode once again! Min-ho too!

tbh, I didn't find Hyun Bin handsome here 🤣 I cringe most of the time and I just find his character ridiculous – but I gotta give it to all of them for making this extremely funny and having such a unique storyline with a nother yet unique female lead!

It's just that kdramas have a way of making ML and FL always meet by fate / coincidence that you somehow think one is stalking the other LOL.

To be fair to the writer, at least she's been making good and believable reasons why do they also meet.
