The fl villain is at least consistent in being that b*tch psycho showing no remorse till the end that got his atty finally quit and she's gonna get a taste of her own medicine GSY you've done your part so well; I hated every bit of your character. I can say that at least I got a bit of suspense in the last epi although I got the hint that the old man would give his last shot to get his revenge completed since he knew his situation best That very last scene b/n him and YR had me teary-eyed The boy (ml's son) is so cute. Also, I like how it made me suspect BHJ when she's sincere in making friends with YR hahaha The only thing I couldn't withstand, which is not uncommon really, is how they don't know how to lock doors esp when they had to protect something inside and gives villains the leverage
I was rather confused with how they chose to wrap this up and how they wanna build the ml, fl, and the other significant characters I think it's good I binged the rest of the epis
Xiao Qui Shui got too involved with the novel characters and became the real one himself and it became his real world too. I just finised this but I was slightly confused with the ending So MingMing also died in his real world? He and the other guy who was also teleported to the novel world both died. Did both of them got sent to the other world at the same time? I didn't agre with Chen Zhou most of the time but I just realized I like seeing him and his wife They're an adorable and lovely couple that I felt sorry for their last moments together. The fight scenes were good but tbh I was a bit confused with the plot and had to rewatch some epis. I think Cheng Yi and Nazha should work on another drama, they have beautiful chemistry I was lowkey rooting for them but weird since they were siblings here.
I like Xu Zhen Xuan (Liu Sui Feng) and XQS), good thing Chen Zhou is played by Cheng Yi too
I failed to recognize Xu Zhen Xuan from FoF that I was literally stunned by his performance for both roles What an amazing actor.
I didn't buy the twist, no way PJH just gonna be that and let HSM be hurt
The title's intriguing and got me here and tbf with the epi 1, it was intense I just feel like the ending wasn't satisfactory for how the story started
Kdramas'recent themes in so far as the recent releases involve (strong) women in politics/related and crime thriller mystery (drugs, scams, tech) Seeing KYW in action again. I suddenly remembered him in the Haunted Palace and how silly I was to ship him with Bona when he only played a guest role hahaha
I'll consider this a mini drama for Cheng Lei and Jelly Lin since I honestly ended up here for CL listed as ML. It takes some or a lot of historical knowledge to see through the story. 10,11 epis with them were awesome- the intensity, the tension (between 3 guys more often), the action, and the love story amidst complications during that time of history- I wanted more but by the synopsis, impossible Anyway, 3 couples, 3 stories, 3 generations of strong women -done Just one thing. I don't like to accept that the 1st couple just chose to do business abroad after the war and that's it for them. Not the kind of ending that suits them. My humble and personal opinion.
I'm finally done with it and the mini twists towards the finale did have some impact to the h.e I was expecting.…
I didn't expect the rain dragon to die, it was the saddest moment for me. I once thought he would be the villain and when he was heavily wounded and happened to land on Mei Si, I started to like him Their interactions were one of my favourites here Mei Si's kindness softened his grudge and revenge plots like they were really distant blood relatives. Also SML died just like that, wth I think the biggest twist was MZY being the son of the former Cat Lord but he was saved by a Celestial Master. The body switches between the second couple and Ling Xiao being sandwiched and used as bait for couple issues is hilarious. I like the comedy of this drama and how light and fun it generally was.

One reason I choose binge watching but then I clicked and here we are waiting for the next 10 oh boi hahaha
Watched 2 epis so far
I wonder if there's a collection of the throwback sfories with the young fl and ml posted somewhere

One reason I didn't binge watch it is to savor it well haha
