Started watching this feeling vaguely familiar and about halfway through I remember I had already skipped through this one and watched it before. The pacing is fast, but the plot is a disappointment. Characters you grow to like do complete 180's in personality for no valid reason just to manufacture drama for 5-10 episodes. Could have been much better. Great cast.
Had higher expectations with this cast, but it turns out I either don't like the author's novels and/or I don't like the adaptations. Have been disappointed by all three.
I almost skipped this one because of the silly series title and it being a medical drama. Many medical dramas delve too heavily into the politics and scheming.
Reminds me of Doctors and the cdrama Surgeons. Definitely worth watching and one of the best currently airing shows.
Melvin is even much more attractive as years go by, in my opinion. One of very few Chinese actors that got me…
I was thinking of a different actor when I wrote that. I just haven't liked anything Melvin Sia has been in recently. A lot of the Taiwanese actors do tend to look a lot older for their roles though.
And it is the worst when they use 40 year olds in HS flashbacks. haha
As for me, the plot is realistic. I can understand the fact that parents involved. They first start dating because…
I can agree with most, but TN's senior should be close to HSY's age as a graduate student completing their doctorate. It was only mentioned TN had started college much earlier than the typical age.
A lot of strong hints being dropped that Do Chi Kwang was the one who murdered Young Koon's mother. Probably just a distraction though.
He was disposing of evidence when he found Young Koon as a child in the bathroom at the murder scene. The violent streaks we have seen. Or maybe he was just covering things up.
Using parents to drive the plot is such lazy writing. Of course Tong Nian's mother doesn't approve, but does approve of the guy from a poor background with a sick mother. In any other Cdrama that would never happen.
I agree. I paid for the premium. I want Netflix to take over. They should just partner with them. Lots of us are…
This is why I miss DramaFever. They also didn't post episodes until they were fully subbed and stuck to their schedule.
I don't understand how Viki can't afford dedicated subbers that stick to a schedule. I pay for Viki and I'm sure many others do. I'd even pay more if the subs were reliably released on time.
What's the age difference between our leads in the drama not real life?
Even starting at age 15 she is in grad school likely pursuing a PhD. I'd say she should be closer to age 22-23. So 7-8 years makes sense. Honestly her senior should be about the same age as Han Shangyan. The only reason she is so much younger is because she started college at 15, which was mentioned.
Nice synopsis, but I have a really hard time watching anything with Melvin Sia these days. He looks his age and his last few dramas have been disappointing. Still going to check it out.
What happened to Baek's girlfriend that was in a coma from the previous season? Didn't the 1st season end with him finding out she was still alive and she woke up?
Another typical Cdrama. Most of the show wasted on a relationship not relevant to the main couple. Hardly any screen to watch the main couple together.
Cdramas either wait until the last episode for the main couple to get together or have them get together late only to break up and then get together again in the last episode. Regardless of the scenario we are left wanting more from the main couple.

Bit of a double standard.
