I thought The Legends was one of the best performances of XK...so definitely his fans should check TL out...XK was sooo handsome in both but more so in TL...wow, the leads in TL were so 💣 hotttt💥💥💥💥. They were so 😍😍😍 lovely...and there were humors with the 2ML...I thought it was definitely good withbthe CD version. On DOSE, the fl was too undecisive but eventually she came to her senses and so everything was a happy ending...

I have. I liked it, so I say, yes, it is. If you haven't watched The Legends yet, I would prefer The Legends better, but make sure you watch TL on Viki cuz it has 2 versions: the CD version is the best. The TV version editing was bad so there are gaps in the tv version that makes you scratching your head wondering why.

Also, you keep saying that YZ didn’t pair XK and WJY together after the success of TSOYP and thats where you’re missing my point. It's on the timing of when TL and AMA were filmed. These were filmed long before TSOYP was aired so RF could be the drama they could film as a pair next giving that they had to sync up their schedules. So was the samething on somebody's comment on WJY paired with the older guy, once again, the story of HoLain or whatever (WJY's drama that was aired in the beginning of 2019 was also filmed b4 the story of yanxi palace's aired. Nobody expected that the Story of Yanxi would have had so much success and gave popularity to both XK and WJY...unfortunately for WJY, she made a wrong step and the media took revenge on her plus her acting skills aren't that good as the people of China like. Just to clarify your points.

@Draco, I said their fans, not XK's fans. On the lamer meaning, my meaning was that XK's fans now a days are much calmer like one of the forist brought up, that they are not to engage with other fans to create an argument...that's what I meant, sort of in a good way...once again you have misundestood...

@Draco: you got it wrong, if you can't see what went on at the filming of TL, then you probably can't observe when 2 people are in love. I never said that BL was as popular as XK when either TL or AMA were aired. XK definitely was immensely more popular than BL at that time cuz of TSOY. As to your say that it's a promotional video similar to the ones filmed for FIYS or WOL...the URL I provided above was not a part of a promotional video...that's not even (most of them) part of rehearsals like you see in WOL, ABAY, etc bts. Those were during their private moments, during their breaks while filming TL like checking your phone for messages, chatting, hanging around, etc.

Unfortunately their relationship didn't end amicably from comments that were out there. Their fans are to blame so that's why XK's fans are much more lamed now but they'd caused a love in XK's young life...hopefully XK will eventually find someone when the time is right for him which I'm sure he will!

Oh I see what you meant...you meant him and BL...I don't think that cost their relationship but something had happened through the fanwars that had ended their relationship. So The Legends and AMA were filmed (must have been) in towards the end of 2017 and 2018 respectively( before the story of Yanxi was released one after another of course)...those claiming that this and that of XK being more popular than BL and was through some dark means that BL got the role, I don't think it's true...instead, i think it showed the vision that YZ had cuz they were both new in their careers. If you don't believe that, TLegends was released in January of 2019 and the story of Yanxi ended broadcasting in Aug of 2018...so there's no way that TL and AMA were filmed after the story of Yanxi to be broadcasted so soon in 2019. BTW, because they weren't popular when they were filming TL and AMA, that's why they were so opened and you can also see in another video out there when they did the promotional video of TL right after they completed their filming and see how close they were in that one, in which he said leaned on her "I am too tight" which is a slang that means i need to go to the bathroom badly...

Oh I see 🙂. That's all right, not all of us have the same perception on the samething...thanks for sharing yours! I thought this drama had of everything: romance, humor, business...so hopefully you'll get to like it a bit more as you continue on🙂

Now, some of the fans may have some predisposition against the age gap of the leads...I’m curious why you think they don’t have any chemistry? Both of you liked XK’s performances...so it seems to me that you might have something that you dislike from the FL?

If you have not done so...Please do the actual review MDL and on each of its episodes if you could 😀 so we can maybe lift our current unjustifiable rating of 8.1. I honestly think that ABAY deserves a 9 like you said, but if not, at least it should be 8.7!

Who is CK?

There are many different versions of Sword & Fairy...however, they are with different leads. XK and Esther Yu did not do well, well none of the recent S&F did well in 2024 so I doubt they will repeat the same leads in future endeavors

The actor to her left with his head inclined towards his right is Liu Xue Yi (I think that’s how his name is spelled) He was with XK in ALP the god of the animals per se.
