It's open ending, if you want it to be a happy ending then it's. It's open to interpretation ^^
@Drako, the ml never died. It was a good ending. Xu kai’s character went on being a doctor and fl became his assistant nurse, The 2nd couple got married. The oldest brother enlisted to the army along with the other funny guy who always was eating a carrot. You probably missed the last 15 minutes of the last episode. Foo ren got encarceladed and the bad shi fu died in Kun Lun. It was all Happy Ending.
I just finished binging this drama. It was very good, got very emotional towards the last few episodes. Excellent drama. There were a few down boring moments but overall it's good. I give it a 8.5 out of 10.
Yup, it was so natural, that's why I was so surprised to see the change...Once I finish the entire dramas, I might just go back and check it out LOL. I'm on ep 31...it's getting kind of boring for me after ep 26.
Talking about his hair style, I wish I knew how they do to thicken his front hair line. You see, like he uses his natural hairline from episodes 26 on (like after the episode after the death of his brother and wife). But before that between he got rich and episode 26 (about), his hairline was a lot thicker :D

I agree with what you said @Amastri. At first, I thought the actor was in the wrong. I don't follow him nor have seen any of his dramas. I don't find him handsome either. But in discussing his case with a friend of mine as we were talking about Chinese Entertainment and what it was in the news last year, she got me into thinking. Why would an actor who has some many endorsements and made lots of money would look for prostitution. It must be a setup which he fell into. Now, I do think Li YiFei must also have some type of weakness that those people used, but most of it, I think it was a setup. I think Li YiFei's career is over; and hopefully he's got savings for his entire life.

It has Finances in it, etc. Now, I thought 2022 was a better year for Iqiyi as most of the hits in China came from Iqiyi. Youku is owned by Alibaba (stock at $89.60). Tencent has a larger Market Cap than Alibaba, so Tencent's value is the highest of the 3 for now...Alibaba was the richest of all in 2021 before its CEO fell into the China's government black list and he had to resign from his post.

I love this drama's OST, it's so beautiful! and of course the entire drama, especially, Xu Kai in it...it's too bad they didn't pick a better FL as the FL is not a typical Xian-xia Xian-Jie.

I don't know why the people at Jaynestars have always bad opinions of Xu Kai's acting. I hope they will keep Xu Kai in it. I'd love to see him in this drama!
