No future dramas are aligned to film for Xu Kai in 2023 after Beautiful as you...it looks like Xu Kai may be cooling off which I hope it's not the case :(

Are all these cast confirmed. What happened to the other actor I think his name was gao han just a while ago?
@Draco, the other actor Gao Han is in the drama. Just click on View All and you'll see. Just that his billing order is way too low which is quite unfortunate because he is a good actor. He's been to a couple of Xu Kai's dramas such as ALP and FIYS, and in 2022 in Love like the Galaxy.

No, you got it wrong. It's about a poor guy who used to sell fish and he will become like the big boss mafia similar to Victor Corleane in GodFather. The cop helped him inadvertently because the little gangsters thought the cop (main character) was the nephew of the city, and the cop was the fishman's friend; so they started to pay the fishman respects...etc.

What is the big deal with Seven Tang? I mean she's a very good actress, but she's not that pretty nor that much…
Well, her fans are very delusional. They want her to take on this type of drama or the other one....sometimes, there are no choices, the producers are the ones to choose, so she wants work. Besides, she's kind of a very small height and not pretty (to be said the truth), so like ancient dramas, in most of them require those pretty ones because that's what stories talk about, (look at the critics at Zhou tong Yu, because she's small and not like those Xian-Jie)...no offense intended. She's very good at acting though.

What is the big deal with Seven Tang? I mean she's a very good actress, but she's not that pretty nor that much popular like some of the younger ones that are out there. As to the age gaps, Song Weilong is younger than Xu Kai and Seven & Song Weilong were a CP in a drama in 2020 and they did well.

I didn't know that Wu Jia Ye is younger than Xu Kai...thanks Draco. Wu Jia Ye was the one who pushed him when he was following Bai Lu in one of those CCTV End of Year Celebration in 2018. Yea, I also watched Dance of the Sky Empire too. I think I've watched all of Xu Kai's dramas :D...I might be his fan #1 LOL

Even though Yang Mi is older than Xu Kai by 9 years, she didn't show that. On the contrary, they made a very convincing couple, sweet and good looking one I might add. Yang Mi looks a lot younger than her age and she's looking beautiful in the drama. Xu Kai on the other hand, very handsome and much mature than his age. All of Xu Kai's female leads with the exception of FYIS, are all older than Xu Kai and they all made very good chemistry.

@sbv95: have you watched She And Her Perfect Husband? If not, watch it, it's good! I also liked any of Xu Kai's dramas of 2022 as well as his that were played in 2021, especially, Ancient Love Poetry and Falling into Your Smile :)

Each of us draw our own conclusion; but I believe the drama goes with what I said as this is how it gave a way for the FL to fall for another guy :)

I would respectfully disagree. TJH didn't respect her well enough to fight for her in front of her mom. He just listened to her mom and let her mom humiliate QS because of her family background. QS was too proud so she didn't allow this.

Started this drama to see Xu Kai's current GF. It's a funny short drama, quite entertaining so far. It's only 200 minutes, about 3 1/2 hours...The FL looks quite a bit like Bai Lu :D that's why Xu Kai is dating her...Xu Kai tried to reconcile with BL but it failed, so he got someone who looked like her when BL was younger.
