I didn't know that Wu Jia Ye is younger than Xu Kai...thanks Draco. Wu Jia Ye was the one who pushed him when he was following Bai Lu in one of those CCTV End of Year Celebration in 2018. Yea, I also watched Dance of the Sky Empire too. I think I've watched all of Xu Kai's dramas :D...I might be his fan #1 LOL

I couldn't agree more to your comments. This drama is a must watch! nice story, great acting by the leads, love Xu Kai's Bai Jue and Hei Jue (the 3rd piece). Beautiful beautiful OST, the best of all dramas I've seen.

Wow, didn't know Xin Xin was such a good singer, Her 2 songs noted in comments below are beautifully sang. She has a great future in the Chinese Entertainment Industry! Besides being filthy rich already :)

Even though Yang Mi is older than Xu Kai by 9 years, she didn't show that. On the contrary, they made a very convincing couple, sweet and good looking one I might add. Yang Mi looks a lot younger than her age and she's looking beautiful in the drama. Xu Kai on the other hand, very handsome and much mature than his age. All of Xu Kai's female leads with the exception of FYIS, are all older than Xu Kai and they all made very good chemistry.

@sbv95: have you watched She And Her Perfect Husband? If not, watch it, it's good! I also liked any of Xu Kai's dramas of 2022 as well as his that were played in 2021, especially, Ancient Love Poetry and Falling into Your Smile :)

Each of us draw our own conclusion; but I believe the drama goes with what I said as this is how it gave a way for the FL to fall for another guy :)

I would respectfully disagree. TJH didn't respect her well enough to fight for her in front of her mom. He just listened to her mom and let her mom humiliate QS because of her family background. QS was too proud so she didn't allow this.

Started this drama to see Xu Kai's current GF. It's a funny short drama, quite entertaining so far. It's only 200 minutes, about 3 1/2 hours...The FL looks quite a bit like Bai Lu :D that's why Xu Kai is dating her...Xu Kai tried to reconcile with BL but it failed, so he got someone who looked like her when BL was younger.

Yes, he didn't do a very good job doing drunk in most of the drunk scenes (except when he was calling QS to let her know that he loved her, which he did well; but when he was awake and QS came to pick him up, that little sketch, wasn't too convincing) but all of the other sober actings, he acted well. I read that he was given real wine for the scene where he called QS (may be, that's to relax him a bit as he's very timid in nature so I read, and that scene he did well).

Agree with CKDramaddicts. I like the actress who interpreted Wu Fei. Only her character was detestable after she became jealous and thinking to do justice, and then became a spoiled brat rich-girl behavior towards the end. The actress did an excellent job.

Filming will start soon, end of December in January in Qingdao. Also, Xu Kai said his next drama is a modern drama and I suppose he meant this one.

You should finish it, never allow others to affect you. Overall, it is a nice ending, it could have been better though, but it's still good.

Keep watching, you'll be rewarded :) Tao Jun Hui was not abandoned, but it's his own acting.

Li Ze Feng was in the main role in Wow Mom, quite an entertaining drama. He was also with Xu Kai in Ancient Love Poetry and Court Lady. Ancient Love Poetry was a custom drama, very good, the best that Xu Kai has done so far (to my taste :) )

Yeah, like most of the audience here, I wished they had paired the leads more together in the last 4 episodes; but overall, I loved the drama. Xu Kai was very handsome, and so was Yang Mi, quite beautiful despite she was 35 years old. She keeps up very well physically. The drama was a S+ production because of all the money they had to spend on Yang Mi's wardrobe and purses, etc, LOL

I found the CP between QS and YH very sweet and great chemistry. In fact, QS and YH was #6 best CP of 2022 dramas per some online data gathering (can't remember which one). L&P CP made it to top 3 (can't remember now exactly the position they got).
