It's cognitively impossible not to compare with the original. Your mind automatically process it and drawing comparisons, unless I somehow suffer from amnesia. Thats the weight of remakes. They literally shared the same name.
people commenting flaws and saying they find this boring and im over here with no critical thinking saying to…
haha dont worry about it. Thats the beauty of comment section. It's to express opinions , agree or disagree with others' . If you are enjoying it, then what others think shouldn't bother you. You don't need to feel guilty about it just how others shouldn't be guilty for disliking it
I just don’t see why AHS gets so much hate. This is my first drama with him and I think he’s doing great in…
did he?? I haven't noticed him receiving hate tbh or maybe I am just oblivious. However, I personally think this is his worst perf out of anything I've seen him. I watched him in still 17 and dr romantic 2 and had no problem with his acting in both dramas. Here, not so much. However, I do think it is more of the character not suiting him than he's a bad actor. His acting just wasn't as convincing here. especially when the female leads are delivering so much. I understand that it's not easy to deliver comedy naturally. Also, it's not like he's unbearable. Like I still enjoy the drama just fine and I definitely do not hate him. It's just criticism.
I am enjoying the fast-paced. storyline overall. The second couple and side characters are also very fun, especially grandfather. However, I still have issue with the ML's comedic timing and lines delivery. It sounds so much like mmm saeguk? Dont know if its intentional but it isn't working for me.
someone help me choose should i watch this or youth of may first?
They are both on the opposite sides of spectrum . Youth of May is a melodrama with real devastating historical event as a backdrop while this one is a fantasy/family/comedy drama.
Depending on which sort of genre fits your mood and preference, it shouldn't be hard to make decision
i am still not fully convinced with the male lead. His comedic timing is really off but still everything else is great. Sejong is just so likable and hilarious as Hari. Aside from the main couple, I am also looking forward for the second couple development. They are delivering some spice
