I hear its a "Slow burn" romance which is exactly what i want right now. So can anyone clear up few things for…
The romance is minimal , subtle and mostly one sided. It focuses heavily on the school corruption instead. The SML wasn't a hindrance at all. He was only her fiance for a couple of episodes before the so called made up "scandal" happened , which took place during ML's highschool days (until epi 6). They broke up after and he wasn't evil nor annoying if thats what you are worried for.
I'm a huge LDH fan and did start watching this drama because of him, but I'm confused by fellow fans who say they…
Yup . both Seung Yoo and Yoon Soo had flaws thats how its supposed to be . idk why people expect leads to be perfect right off the bat. Also wholeheartedly agree that Seung Yoo's initial actions weren't okay at all. Glad he grew out of it.
Dont worry just ignore them. Trust me there are alot of fans that appreciate both. I knew and enjoyed Im Soo Jung's works way before I knew Lee Dohyun and I am so happy they got to work together.
i am sorry but the information is incorrect. already been released and it wasn't Lee Dohyun that we know. It was another rookie actor lee dohyun. Is it really that hard to validate first before posting such information on major site??
The romance was subtle . The show doesn't really focus on the romance tho, more on the corruption etc . It took a long time for the FL to open up and accept ML .
Does the second male lead have a function in this show or is he just there to be the guy who doesn't get the girl?…
hahaha he had limited amount of screen times but he actually serves a function since this drama deals with tangible historical context. He did like her but quickly moved on once he learnt she had feeling for ML. It helps that the drama only had 12 episodes with life and death situation serving as major conflict, so misunderstandings are quickly resolved
The drama suffers from pacing issue. Why did they push all the corruption reveals near the end? It took so long for the FL to open up to the ML. They also need to cut the amount of unnecessary villains. Some of them are just useless and dont offer anything significant to the plot.
On the contrary, i am actually enjoying the subtle romance. Altho it's a bit funny how this drama initially facing blacklash for its potential romance , only for the romance element to be presented in an extremely subtle and mostly one sided.
The epilogue scene from Yoon Soo' pov is honestly so beautiful. A scene inserted just to allow audience to peek into her feelings since she's been so closed off post time jump. She does love him ( the look she gave him when he was sleeping) but she's just afraid that his involvement with her will hinder him to grow into his full potential. She desperately wants him to thrive and achieve more, because she knows he can.
This is a fact and a gift, that whoever LDH is paired with, old or young counterpart, he creates this electrifying…
now that I think about it, he really does. I remember equally enjoying his chemistry with Kim Ha Neul and Han So Eun ( the younger version of his wife in 18 again).
and here, I am also enchanted with his quite chemistry with Im Soo Jung. I think it has a lot to do with the way he looks at his partners and his deep melo voice. hahah
I liked the ML but now (ep 8) he seems like more of a stalker to me…lol
lmao he did come off a bit stalkerish for getting her number by memorizing frm her car but i can forgive him coz he deleted it after she told him off and decided to give his business card instead if she's ready to talk.
I am a firm believer in context matters when it comes to these kinds of topics and this is the one time I can…
Same here. I want Seung Yoo to find his happiness so bad. It hurts how people discredit his genuine feelings. She was the first person who truly cared for him whom he actually connects intellectually. Why does him hung up onto her considers creepy when he was willing to give up on his feelings when he was a minor knowing he had no chance with her. He never crossed any lines. Now that they are equal, I dont find anything wrong with him wanting to pursue and make her happy
btw, she's no longer his teacher tho. It's basically teacher-teacher relationship now lmao
Seung Yoo definitely knew that Yerin had something to do with the scandal. The way he acted all nice and friendly in front of her but turned sour when she wasn't looking said it all.
I mean he knew she was in Jeju (everyone knew since it made to the news ) around the same time they visited Jeju for the competition preparation so i can see why he would suspect her.
Why do i feel like even if Ye rin is scared that Seung Yoo might expose her, she still kinda has been liking him…
She does. It was mentioned in her character's description on the drama's website prior to the airing that she would be having one sided crush/love on him. So yeah. You are definitely onto something.
Dont worry just ignore them. Trust me there are alot of fans that appreciate both. I knew and enjoyed Im Soo Jung's works way before I knew Lee Dohyun and I am so happy they got to work together.

I hope they'll focus on that in next episodes because right now, the evil people with their evil schemes are just multiplying .

She's Yoon Soo student from her clinic academy that Yoon Soo took under her guardianship. She's also Seung Yoo's student From Asung High School.
