“there was a poet, who once said the following. that if you wanna understand, if you wanna forgive, and if you wanna love someone you should observe how they look from the back, for a long while. that if you do just that, you don’t have to unnecessarily try to understand, forgive, or love them because their lonely shadow will have made you cry without you even knowing. to understand someone's loneliness, well, for me, i think that's the beginning of love. ”
woojoo: "his back. the way he looks so lonely and bored from behind. that back is the worst part about him. so what if he's handsome? he's carrying his grim feelings on his back." 😭😭😭
probably my favorite roles I've seen both of the leads in especially Lee Sungkyung imo she seems to be type casted…
although my favorite role of hers is still KBJ (too many fond memories as my first drama), i think she really excels in these more intense, quiet characters. i liked her in dr romantic too but here i really feel for her and invest in her character much more!
ep 6 ending had me crying so much for dal omg i feel so fucking bad for her😭and the way she basically confessed to him there😭😭😭 now that i've seen the preview (i should stop myself from always checking them) i can't wait for next week ugh
i loved the scene with the staff trying to come up with that "high concept lore" for the group 😂 that must be what it's like behind the scenes. with the way some actual groups out there have these insanely complicated and deep backstories, it's not too far from reality (looking at groups like ateez, loona etc.)
episode 5 was so funny, KMG is really selling his comedic role with a mixture of deadpan. sincerity and awkwardness…
ikr he is so goofy and silly it's a joy to watch and for me that excuses every other bit of this show that is lacking! i died when he cringed over having to do idol-aegyo, asking why something like that would be necessary to win artist of the year. welcome to the world of k-pop 😂
These are low budget ENA dramas they are just filling slots.
fr i don't get how it's low budget.. there is nothing that feels cheap about production, directing, etc. and most other ena dramas have been like this.
On the first two episodes I didn't liked the ML, he was portraited too bland but after the 3rd and 4th I guess…
imo i don't think it's an "image he wants to cast over people". he's like, quite literally horribly depressed 😭 it's really not hard to tell. he's gotten to the point where he didn't care if a car were to run him over. he's stopped caring. and it's not a facade that he puts on, that's the way he's lived so far.
oh shiiit that ending. curious to see how both of them are connected. i mean there's gotta be a reason she's bound to his taxi 👀 i love how nicely balanced this drama is, has a little bit of everything!
how is this one? hated the kdramas that released recently like love to hate
if you're in the mood for something deep and quiet, then i think you'll enjoy it. do keep in mind that it's a melodrama though so it's nothing like your usual loud and bustling romcom
Maybe it’s just my bootleg eye but I can’t seem to uh, dislike the filter here. Even the cheap resolution…
i actually think it's kinda cool that they went for the filter, it's polarizing but it's also something different for once. the "squished" look of the flashbacks is actually the only thing bothering me, but i heard some OCN dramas and movies go for that too so apparently that's a stylistic thing.
