president do is genuinely the most despicable character i've ever seen in a medical drama. literally every ep…
I'm not sure if you watched D-Day yet (really recommend it if you like disaster themes), but the hospital director there was even worse, lol. He straight up refused patients during a literal earthquake crisis π
chairman do is such a slimy little obsessive cockroach that just won't go away ffs
you will LOVE the s2 ending then haha! i was hollering because it was so awesome to watch. he truly is a despicable character isn't he (and the actor played it to perfection)
With all the new upcoming projects he has lined up I'm just looking at his filmography and all of his characters (or most prominent ones):
a short-track speed skater, a young king sejong, a doctor intern, a werewolf boy, a broke loser (y'all gotta watch penny pinchers), a joseon-era playboy, a vengeful boyfriend, a special forces soldier, an independence fighter, twins (!!!) in a bronze-age fantasy, a space-junk collecting single dad, an italian mafia consigliere, a korean immigrant in columbia, a wronged employee reincarnated into a chaebol heir, a gang boss, a north korean defector
he really can do it ALL. I haven't yet watched everything but I love how you can tell he's really an actor who actually likes to challenge himself and doesn't let himself get typecasted or pushed into certain archetypes due to his looks or most famous roles. Hell, not even genres. But he manages to be absolutely convincing in whatever he does. He's definitely the type of actor who fully 'becomes' their character and you believe him when he behaves like a dog or as if he just ate the worst damn pasta in his life or if he's a space pilot grieving his daughter and doesn't have money for shoes. Doesn't help that he's also basically a vampire and I'll 100% believe him when he says he's a 19 year old while he's almost double the age irl. I've become such a fan of him and cannot wait for his new projects, especially the movies!!
if we only get two more episodes and no season two, then the brilliant chemistry between the main characters is wasted tbh πͺ will be forever mourning the fact that they cut this short
if they really follow the manhua in the ending part then there isn't any romance between the leads but i mean…
cowboy bebop is NOT the manga this show is based on lol it doesn't even remotely have anything to with it π the similaritities are coincidental, if anything maybe the style of the opening sequence was inspired by it. but that manga is a completely different kind of story
if I had a nickel for every time there was a comedy law drama with a female lawyer lead that likes to do yoga in her free time, i'd have two nickels - which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
disney+ can't keep getting away with this istg. they're making more and more dramas these days but if they don't start getting their shit together and make their content widely availaible i'm going to korea and visit their headquarters with some gasoline and a lighter in my hand.
Oh hey, fellow German here. Gut zu wissen π But yeah was pretty bizarre to suddenly hear my native tongue in…
omg for real?? that's crazy! die welt ist klein :D it's so strange right, a similar moment in cloy when captain ri was in switzerland, but the swiss accent was to be expected there lol. for sure, I know from tons of foreign friends that they all have a bone to pick with the german language. I also gotta pick up korean again but it's so hard to set up consistent study sessions when you work irregularly π€§ all my textbooks are getting dusty and crying on the shelf ;-;
yeah, I live in germany and they're screening decision to leave in february and broker in march. so long until then π no idea about other countries though :(
i hate how i'll have to wait until next year to watch this and broker in my local cinemas. i could just stream them but ugh. these kinds of films have to be watched on the big screen π€§
the sudden german scene took me OUT lmao!!! so funny getting to understand what they're saying, although that guy's accent was definitely swiss, not german haha
the amount of brainrot the couples are giving me is unreal!! ma tan getting heart palpitations bc of kang mi's veiny arms omg πππ and sangsik and narae have such crazy good chemistry it's so addicting to watch! some of this year's best kdrama romances in the silly goofy slapstick office comedy?? IT'S MORE LIKELY THAN YOU THINK
