I want what this director was smoking when he thought of making this drama. Also, NETFLIX ORIGINAL? Watch this actually be good and we will all eat our words π
KDRAMA AND OUT-OF-THE-ORDINARY LAWYERS WHAT IS IT WITH YOU? Why do they have such a hold on me... fuck it i am adding this to the watchlist this looks so fun π
I'm a huge fan of Dr Romantic season 1 (I'm currently rewatching it for the 3rd time) and I will forever be disappointed…
I lowkey agree with you (also watched S1 three times lol). I loved both seasons but S1 will always be my favorite. It's not like I didn't like the S2 leads, they still did great and I was invested enough but the s1 leads are just leagues ahead in the acting department (AHS/LSK fans don't crucify me) and I cared much more about their romance as well. I'm not sure what it is, but I've always just felt more attached to the S1 leads and definitely agree with you on the part that it felt more emotionally rewarding in a sense? to watch the S1 cast slowly become a team and do the surgeries together along with Dr. Kim. Thanks to him the S2 surgery scenes were still amazing but I cared way more about the S1 doctors' development than the S2 ones for sure.
It's so rare to see a drama get 2 seasons let alone 3. this is huge!
it's not surprising since both seasons had insanely high ratings, it was really popular in SK, similarly to Penthouse which also got several seasons lol
This is like one of the ONLY dramas where I am desperate for a new season, can never get enough of this drama and its cast. Crossing my fingers for a s1 leads cameo π
saw this in the cinema (and i'm so glad i did), i can safely say this must've been one of the most nerve-wracking, intense movies i've ever seen. left the theatre with sweaty palms. if you like disaster movies, this is a must!!
Got the lucky chance to watch this at a nearby film festival and WHAT A FUCKING BANGER! This was such a treat to see on the big screen because this a movie that definitely deserves it. I'm glad I knew this was a two-parter from the beginning (something the english title should've included - many people in the theatre were baffled at the ending) because the ending is a cliffhanger and the second part will be out by next year. I can't wait to see how it continues. I'm loving the approach SK is taking with the sci-fi genre, It's all still in its baby steps but you can tell korean directors are brimming with creativity when it comes to this genre. This movie alone was such a rollercoaster from start to finish, and you might be quite confused at the start. Like whatβ so aliens are using human brains as prisons an- oh wait we're suddenly in the 14th century and there's magicians and the aliens are also kinda robots and they're fighting and did they just take that baby to the present? And what's up with that magic sword? It's all definitely A LOT to take in but it's never not fun and as it goes on you'll slowly understand how the different plotlines relate to each other. Also the whole cast was great, was my frst time seeing Kim Woo Bin in anything but he was so good as both the guard and thunder and I'm so attached to their little found family with Lee An. Kim Tae Ri was amazing too and her wielding a gun and doing crazy stunts is probably reason enough to go and watch this.
Btw if anyone has friends into Kdrama and is considering watching this - watch it TOGETHER! This show is insane as it is, but it's def 10 times more fun if you can discuss the plot twists and theories with some ppl around. I'm watching it with a few friends via vc every week and it's so hilarious losing ur minds over what's happening in this drama lmao
