I think I'm going to get cavities from how sweet Taeyang and Taejun are together, I literally can't with them. I love how shy Taeyang was at first but slowly shows her affection towards Taejun and he's like a small puppy patiently waiting for her with a giant grin on his face it's so fucking adorable. Also died laughing when she drew his "grave" for him lmao. Praying to the drama gods that their relationship will be as healthy as possible 😭

The thing I don't think this is entirely comparable to 2521 despite it also being a youth/sports drama with romance in it, because 2521 was more of a coming of age story that happened to have romance in it. But Love All Play definitely is what I personally had wanted 2151 wanted to be. And it still does have its serious moments but doesn't seem to be going the direction that 2521 went at all and genuinely feels like, and from what i've read, that it'll give us mostly happy moments between the leads ❤️
Whereas In 2521, most of its feel-good moments (in my opinion, pls don't come for me) and wholesome nostalgia got shoved aside in the end for the sake of telling the message: "oh hey! youth is great and all but is eventually fleeting and all happy memories and relationships you made will be nothing but slightly sad and wistful memories that are forever in the past and now you have to be a monotone and jaded adult that can only look back on them." And yes it all might have been foreshadowed but that doesn't take away from how disappointing it still was. This might sound harsh and for most people that ending was ""realistic"" and adjacent to real life, which, sure it might be but to someone who is the exact age that NHD was in 2521 it portrays an incredibly gloomy outlook on what life will be like in the future. It wasn't hopeful or uplifting at all and went completely against what it seemed like to be promoting in the first place. It just felt depressing. I think the drama would've been just fine being simply an uplifting youth drama about sports and romance without the whole "nothing lasts forever" kind of tone. And Love All Play seems to want to be exactly that and I'm so glad I can finally enjoy a sports drama like I could enjoy WFKBJ back then.
Sorry for this tangent (i'm just so traumatized by this show...) but yeah Taeyang and Taejun are amazing together so far and I hope the drama follows through until the end!

Absolutely! I feel like they'd be a fun match because their personalities clash so much. I think the reason why Taejun might not know about Junghwan's (and Taeyang's) relationship with his sister is because he wasn't close to her at all so he must have just not cared about who she was friends with.

Haha ik I just wanted to mention it. Yeah same, I really enjoy how they obviously both act as if they can't stand each others company but they secretly do. I do wonder what's going to happen once Junyoung's back and if Junghwan is going to feel conflicted about it because he's obviously growing fond of Yumi 👀
That back hug at the end ughhh. They're gonna be the death of me. But now that the transfer issue is out of the way and Taeyang will permanently stay at Yunis, there will be time for her and Taejun to develop their relationship which I'm really looking forward too, they're just soooo good together on screen!! Also, have y'all seen in the preview that Junyoung is finally gonna come back, or at least it seems that way? I'm actually really scared to find out what happens once Taejun knows that the girl he likes is his sisters' friend. Then again we also don't really know how close he was to Junyoung and if he'd hold any grudges toward Taeyang at all. Judging by all the flashbacks tho I'd say he likely was very distant with Junyoung since he had to live in the shadow of her sucess most of the time. But how would Taeyang feel if she knows he's Junyoungs brother? Honestly I'm just hoping that reveal will be as little angsty as possible. argh. I NEED THE NEXT EPISODE NOW.

tbf it's understandable most people aren't rooting for them because they probably just can't stand Junghwan because of how he treats Taeyang, which I get but like you said not everything's been revealed yet. We're definitely gonna get character development for him and probably all the Yunis members too once everything gets cleared up, so I still ship him and Yumi! If you look some of at the posters for the drama you see all the team members happily beside each other, so obviously them hating on Taeyang won't go on for the whole drama and they're gonna have a good relationship later on, it'll just take a while.
If only this drama wasn't airing on goddamn Disney+, way more people would be watching it 😭 I feel like it's criminally underrated compared to the other airing dramas atm, and it just not being available in most countries makes people less inclined to watch/check out which is a pity because it's so so good.

honestly taejuns apartment is a straight up accurate representation of guys who live alone lmao, it really reminded me of one of my friends. literally just the bare bones essentials and then they put their full budget in some other stuff like gaming set up 😂
okok i just finished all 4 episodes and I'm actually so glad i started this!! been wanting to start another youths/sports drama since the only one I've seen so far is wfkbj. And this one is absolutely delivering so far. I'm really invested in the story and the leads are sooo good together, A+ chemistry. I am kinda dreading the moment Taeyang finds out Taejun is Junyoungs brother since that just seems like angst waiting to happen. I'm also annoyed by Youngsim like everyone else but tbh we still don't know the full extent as to what happened 3 years ago so there is most likely something that will give her awful treatment of Taeyang some more context. But as of now she is definitely a character I don't get along with. Also, when will they finally release the opening song??? it's such a banger I need the full song asap ㅠㅠ
Absolutely sickening how it's already been a year since this drama ended, it doesn't feel like that at all. I miss it everyday and honestly no other drama so far has managed to make me feel like Vincenzo did, it just hit different 😭 Am I the only one?? Anyways happy 1 year to the best drama of 2021 🕊️🔥👏
