If Joongki won't play Eunseom/Saya, idk if I even want to watch the second season... I was so excited to finish the first one since I had stopped and only wanted to watch it if a second season was secured. Now I'm on the fence. Surely LJG and SSK are great actors but without the original cast it'll just feel wrong. Ugh.
Finally finished watching the second season and thank heavens a third is announced- I don't think I'm capable to say goodbye to Doldam Hospital and all the characters at all. I was a bit doubtful at the beginning but I ended up absolutely enjoying this season!! I still like the first one a tiny bit more because it did focus more on the patients (it felt more hectic and fast-paced as well, despite being longer) and the second one is a bit heavier on hospital politics, with a lot of quiet breaks in between the medical cases. However you also get to see so many more good character moments due to that and this makes it just as worth seeing.
If you're wondering wether this drama is any good, or wether to watch the first season: Yes. Please just give it a go because it's truly an experience. I really really need that 3rd season now though ugh π
I really really really love the webtoon. However I truly wished they would have kept the webtoon title and not…
Annarasumanara is still the title in korean. The sound of magic is just the english one. Tbf it's much easier for Netflix to attract new viewers with a more inviting title instead of one that doesn't give any hints on what to expect.
UGHHH I WILL MISS THIS SHOW SO BAD. The beginning of the week won't be as exciting for a while now, I already miss looking forward to mondays. By the way, I did see some picture where Kim Sejeong and Seol In Ah are sitting beside each other and Sejeong was wearing a wedding gown? Was this a deleted scene they cut out?
edit: nvm i'm a clown, that wasn't Sejeong but In Ah's friend in the pic lmao
So guys...uhm, is it happy ending? Lol. I can really take satisfying endings even melancholic ones, but my heart…
Yes! Regarding the romance it may be a tiny bit bittersweet (or just unconventional), although that only depends on how optimistic your outlook on the ending is, so you can take it how you want. But based solely on what the show presents you/the dialogue, it ends well for the leads. The ending in general delivers closure and the characters are happy, but still gives enough room for personal interpretations so I think it's pretty satisfying.
I purposely didn't pick up this drama because I feared an open ending (based on some spoilers I've seen on twitter), although I was thinking to maybe binge the show once it's done.. Was the ending really that bad, no closure at all? Is it even worth watching now?
Is it still possible this will air in 2022? Both Han Seok Kyu and Ahn Hyo Seop are busy with upcoming projects.
If you search krn articles, it says winter 2022 but I'm not sure how accurate that is anymore. My assumption is they might postpone it until next year because they couldn't get all of the cast together ;; If they do try to get s1+s2 casts together, a lot of actors will have to coordinate schedule which seems incredibly hard given the amount of people that would be included.
So glad it's on Netflix!! Will be watching this for Yeo Been but looks like the series will get a good boost from AHS's popularity thanks to Business Proposal, and I'm also excited to see him again since that drama has been my oxygen for the past weeks :')
