sorry but nodaon is not right, because IF the victims family understand what really has happened to the perpetrator…
me when people experience things differently from each other in a way that doesn't necessarily align with my own personal perspective!!! the human experience is nuanced??? gasp!! shocker!!! let it rest bro
daon and bitna's morals clashing is literally the point of the entire show (watch the sbs commentary by the cast and director). daon being right in terms of some victims simply not being content with having their perpretator just disappear without retaliation and bitna being right in terms of thinking some perpretators deserve to feel and go through the same pain and suffering as their victims no matter what - those are two concepts that are deliberately juxtapositioned. if daon was simpy complicit and agreeable the minute he meets bitna and if bitna never ever wavers (she may be a demon but she's in a human body - and come with that is the complexity of having human experiences) then the story would be much more boring and over very quickly. them meeting each other will have both of them changing as people - with bitna becoming a "true judge" by the end of the show. every conflict and development between both of them is there to lead towards that. rip to y'all i guess but i like multifaceted character dynamics ✌
Have a hunch that granny is definitely an angel or somewhat of a higher being!
ooh she definitely is, she absolutely knows more than she lets on. when she said daon and bitna should stay away from each other otherwise one of them will die 👀
Everyone in the comments saying they're not excited for the romance or don't want any when I'm kind of excited…
i'm absolutely here for it. crime x romance is like my fave genre combo ever so i'm being fed extremely well with this drama 🤠also, having read the directors comments and articles on the show, the romance will get even stronger since it's the core of bitna's character arc, so anyone who really hates to see it should probably tune out now lmao
https://x.com/ggholic/status/1843561975353356345 apparently scenes were shot in a rebuilt blacksmith village from the goguryeo dynasty. seems like the drama's lore will date quite far back! i kind of expected them to go back in history at some point because they kept lingering on that one old painting and bitna's wooden box during certain scenes. really curious what this could mean for the story 👀 any ideas?
is there anyone else who thinks bitna totally resembles hong chayoung in demeanor and style/vibes? unhinged morally grey women in law my beloved...💜💜💜
funny scenario that's been sitting in my head: fast forward to the future when bitna and daon are together (yeah we're getting a happy ending trust me the writer told me), and daon seems to be always wearing his cross necklace bc it's a keepsake from his mom, he never really thinks of taking it off. so everytime they make out and he takes his shirt off bitna just reveives +10000 eye damage. kills the tension every time
this show has me brainrotting so hard i really need the next episode asap 😠idk if you guys seen the preview for ep7 but things will get SO interesting between them i can't wait
thought about this and i find it a bit strange that some people seem to think bitna gaining more empathy and human emotions will make her revenge and punishments weaker?? like have we not seen vincenzo ep16? have we not seen john wick? if anything, once the heart is in the game, whatever happens to the people bitna is targeting will be even worse than what we've seen before (and because this is that kind of drama, the action scenes can't possibly peak in the early stages and will progressively get more intense no matter what, because that's how storytelling works). the cleaners also literally stated that her punishment for yang seungbin seemed "harsher" and more "emotionally charged" than usual, right during the time in the drama when she is starting to feel human emotions. so it's just such an odd take to me because i'm absolutely looking forward to her being emotionally doomed lol :3
Anyone here who is not a Park Shin Hye fan and can give an relative unbiased feedback if her acting is good in…
it's my first time watching her in anything and i think she's doing a phenomenal job at selling the character. she's witty, expressive and snarky. you wouldn't be able to tell she used to be critized for dull acting before. and the drama is definitely worth watching overall!
with bitna constantly wanting to see what daon's up to by writing his name on the mirror the comedic potential of her doing it and him suddenly being in the shower or something is simply too good to pass up lmao @writer please?
Is this not available to watch on Disney+ in the USA?? I have Disney+ but cannot find it.
disney+ kdramas in the us usually end upon on hulu so i'd suggest checking that out. but you can easily watch it for free on kisskh.co if it's not accessible to you!
everyone dreading the romance but im enjoying every bit of development were getting haha. i love it the most when there are characters so convinced in their own convictions and way of doing things slowly seeing it all crumble right in front of their eyes, because of one single person that appears in their life. like this is exactly what i came for.. love seeing a bit of angst and tension as they suffer their way through discovering that love ultimately changes them!!! <3
