Can anyone give me a spoiler about Dijun and Feng Jiu ending?
Dijun tells Feng Jiu that if he could love, he would love her. Feng Jiu becomes the second (but reigning?) Queen of the Fox Clan and Dijun sends her a gift. Their loveline isn't resolved but that's also true to the book since the sequel is about their love trials.
@bojinator - Happy ending for Ye Hua & Bai Qian. Su Jin is punished to suffer countless mortal trials and you see her getting humiliated by her mortal one-armed husband (?) at one point. Dijun tells Feng Jiu that if he could love, he would love her. Feng Jiu becomes the second (but reigning?) Queen of the Fox Clan and Dijun sends her a gift. Their loveline isn't resolved but that's also true to the book since the sequel is about their love trials. Ghost Princess sees 16th Disciple and they have a sweet moment. And there ya go!
Are you sure? I can tell you it's a happy ending! (also the ending hasn't been aired yet but I'm guessing it's going to be close to the book and maybe some epilogue)
I'm watching it as it airs. Just finished ep 54. If this drama is ending at 58 eps, then my guess is it will…
Just saw 56. I agree with @moondust and thought they did a good job with it. I don't feel like it's going to be a rushed ending at all. In fact, I'm hoping for some epilogue bits from the side stories involving A-lin. That would be super cute!
The main issue will be Dong Hua Di Jun and Feng Jiu but like moondust mentioned the production didn't get the rights for Pillow Book so there storyline was a loose adaptation, which I honestly think will play out better as someone that has read Pillow Book.
Confirmed that BQ gets her Su Su memories around 53/54. Saw the preview trailer... and I can't wait for SJ to get her borrowed eyes plucked. YAAASSSS. The downer is that poor YH will have no idea why BQ's gonna snub him when he comes back to the immortal plane. :(
So it looks like we won't be seeing BQ get her memory back until ep 53/54, which means there won't be a resolution to YH & BQ's story until ep 57/58. I was hoping they'd finish up their love line around 55/56 so we could see more epilogue stories, while also finishing up FJ & DH's loveline.
@hazel321 - The easiest way for me is that wuxia is about martial heroes while xianxia is about immortal heroes. So it's fantastical (super human powers) vs pure fantasy (gods, dragons, fairies, etc).
That lil clip of Ye Hua lowering the MC onto a bed in the intro gets me every time, oh my god; Edit: At this point…
I know! It's just so freaking cute and cheesy in the best way! One of my favorite bits is when she tries to feed him raw meat as a snake and kisses him as incentive to eat. His reaction, haha.
And then asking his uncle how to get her attention as a human... Him being all, "PITY! Yes, that's the only way to go" and feeling bad because she's so upset with his wounds and heals himself. Also, all the times he has to fake being hurt to keep staying there....
I would hold off watching more until eps 30 is up because it seems like you'll dislike the cliffhangers. That will at least get you to a more comfortable stopping point.
I dont care if its a spoilsr i need to know when she gets her memory back. That or when someone recognizes her…
@Taylor_elle - Ah, makes sense! I can understand a little but not enough to get a concrete understanding. Having knowledge from the books helps as my Mandarin is elementary at best, haha.
I just saw she doesn't get her memories back even in ep 36 and feel terribly demotivated to continue with…
There's other stuff going on so it doesn't just focus on Su Jin as a villian. BQ hasn't gotten her memory back yet at ep43... Based on what's happening, it looks like she'll get her memories back by ep50.
20-36 is a little Su Su then BQ eventually meeting YH and kid with some other stuff in there.
