Lol!!! I hate this type of storyline. CDramas DEFINITELY would do this, but this also already happened in the Kdrama A Time Called You. I hope this isn't the case here though.

Ohhh... I would love to read the novel. Do you have a link for it? I'll probably bookmark it though for now. As I don't want to get spoiled with the drama and start comparing notes. 🤭

You know.. i have the same thoughts. I'm about to read the novel because the drama had so many missing scenes and has a lot of plot holes that it left me reading between the lines like... What exactly is happening and how did they end up falling in love, really? It felt too fast. But still, I enjoyed it for the awesome chemistry, acting and scenes. The actors were great, the chemistry off the charts, scenery was beautiful but the story line... A lot was missing. And I think they also cut a lot of scenes to fit everything else. The dialogues were a bit off and I think it has something to do with the translations. I read somewhere that some of the translations were inaccurate. So I'm really looking forward to the novel and hoping they shed light on the side characters and what exactly the leads are thinking during some specific scenes.

Gaaaaad.... Don't tell me Byeon Woo Seok is gonna end up dead again in the end. I'm tired of him either dying or not ever getting the girl at the end of any movie or drama. Please let this be a good one where he doesn't end dead and finally gets the girl.

Ditto. It's his character and I think he's a good actor for portraying a tsundere character for the little screen time he is given. He tried his best, unfortunately the drama production didn't give him a chance to shine. Even the other side characters were great but didn't really flourish much because of the story line.

Have you seen You Are My Glory? It has the same vibe as this, only much more on the glamorous side. Also Try Love 020 or A Little Thing Called First Love, it's fairly old but also a good drama about falling in love. 😊

I was wondering maybe they might be filming in a safer location, because for sure the production team wouldn't permit them to be in a dangerous spot. I hope we get more news about the filming.

My tearducts just became a dam of waterfall. This drama is heart breaking and yet so freaking heart warming at the same time.

In the Japanese version they didn't end up together or was it open ended? I'd really love to watch that version since I've heard it's way much better than this, but I still love this version though except for Moeun's lack of character growth.

I totally feel your rants. I loved her character initially but the writers got too lazy and didn't give her a chance to redeem herself and even gave us a time skip. This makes me wonder if the Japanese version was the same.

I honestly felt the same way as you .. and episode 16 lacked so much on showing Moeun's character growth but... What I learned here is that she still loved him even after they broke up. She's still longing for him despite her insecurities of not being able to communicate well with him. I think they tried to show that them getting back together is them working on their issues head on and making that choice. Just like the choice Moeun and her Mom was talking about. Making conscious choices in life is what defines your life later on.

I just wish the time skip didn't happen, they showed how Moeun did her life's assignment of how to be a better partner for Jinwoo. That would have been better for me.

I've got high hopes for this drama and definitely looking forward to the storyline as the producers and writer have a good line up from their previous works.

I don't mind this being a 20 episode drama too if they go more deeply into the political side of the drama..like how each of the couples they matched up would be able to affect the royal family and the rest of the upper noble clans. I just hope they wrap up this drama nicely with that 1 episode left.

Ahhh... I do get what you mean. But I do have a latest drama reference regarding adding an episode and it somehow helped the drama. That's My Dearest and adding 1 more episode to their 20 episode series really worked wonders for me as a fan. I was hoping the same would happen for this one, since I would love to see more added details about the other couples, like how they were able to deal with the aftermath of the wedding and not just to be wrapped up through narration by another character. There's still a lot of things that can be explained and having 1 episode left for all that, I feel this episode is going to be rushed.

I personally think that the drama started strong, got lost in the middle but redeemed itself around episode 11 onwards. I'm hoping they extend 1 more episode to wrap everything nicely. I have a feeling ending at 16 episodes will be a bit rushed.
