He didn't take the book. He was burying the book. It mirrored the current time frame scene of SY reburying the…
Now that makes a lot more sense to me! Thanks for explaining this. I already assumed that it was Mu Jin who buried it in the first place, that's why I thought that scene was out of place.
Can you be more specific "that ending?"What are you referring to? Include the mark (minutes) if you can.
What I really thought here in this drama is that they could have ended it at ep 12. There was too much going on with the sub characters which was really irrelevant to the actual plot. I'm okay with their Joseon scenes and how it explained a lot of things about what's happening in modern time (this is the case with Rowoon's previous drama too, from Extraordinary You) but that's just a whole different story while the subplots in the modern time just annoyed me and created so much filller it was enough to create 4 episodes of it.
Comparing this to See You In My 19th Life, on the other hand, that's the drama I wanted to have at least an extra episode to explain how in the world the female lead restarted her life without knowing the people she got entangled with. Even the ajjhumma she lived with, how was she able not to live with her anymore when she's been with her almost all her life? I just can't move on from that and I felt cheated. Lol.
So I was wondering why you have rated this 7.5 but after reading through your post, I totally understand and it's definitely justifiable. I did give this a biased rating because I adored the cast and almost forgot that the plotline itself was all over the place. lol

Ohhhh... that's good research. They tried so hard to make it continue and make sense but in the end just made it out of place or make it seem like there would be a season 2 or something.
I even thought he was holding a third book which he didn't bury but I had to recheck episode 2 make sure that it was the same book. I feel like that last scene wasn't entirely necessary as it's very obvious with the viewer that he took care of everything in Joseon era.
I hate how Goo Won Moo immediately accused Yoo Gil Chae of running away with her lover. She gave up to the love…
He'd definitely be traumatized after being almost left by her and would have lots of space to doubt her specially after learning that the man she love is still alive.
Wait until he learns she's staying with her previous lover (when he saves her yet again in future episodes!). He'd think more it was a plot to mislead him that she got abducted. Then she won't be able to return to joseon.
That's just my thoughts. I really wish that's not the case. I feel like she's better off being with Lee Jang Hyun and serve the prince with her brilliant mind.
The storyline started great, got lost in the middle, slightly redeemed itself near finish and it all ended with a cute and a confusing ending. Anyone who can help me out with what to make out with that ending??? I didn't get it.
Such a good movie, I loved it. I was hesitant because of the reviews and comments but I actualy loved it so much.…
You should update the reviews with yours! It's sad that the reviews has low ratings. This is an indie film so it's expected that people won't appreciate it as such. T_T
What? Seriously no one has commented here yet??? This is a really good movie. And the actor playing the kid with Autism is really good!!! I swear I thought he's for real until I looked up the details.
Over all I loved the story and how heartwarming everything was despite the sad family situation.
There's an article in KoreaJongAngDaily about how My Dearest is an adaptation of Gone With Wind. Adaptation is…
In writing, does having similar plots but a whole different execution of how it goes, it's still deemed as plagiarism? I'm asking because I'm not sure if it is. But if we compare plot lines and characters it is indeed based off from Gone with the Wind but that's a whole different story from a different era. So... I'm not sure if this will still be considered as plagiarism since there were a lot of different elements as well.
I loved everything about this drama except for the conclusion on how Ban Ji Eum will be able to become a normal…
I like my drama with details, this drama started FULL of details until they decided to create a shortcut on how to address the issue of Ban Ji Eum having a normal life.
Yes, erase the girl's memories just so she becomes normal.
So where did she go home after they erased her memories? How did she go back to her original work? HOW IN THE WORLD was she able to adjust that fast when they removed all her memories of her current life while the rest of those who knew her remembered it for her? I feel cheated because of these details. They couldn't just remove ones memory and make her live a normal life when she's already made history on the present world she's living in.
ANYWAYS... this is just my rant after that last episode of impossibility. Over all I still loved the drama, the cast and the OST.
