Beautiful. But I think it's preferable that you know the novel to not get confused by the plot, the characters, the different narrations and the supernatural elements. I made some great cast discoveries in it.

So, again: I've dropped the drama mainly because the main character gives me headaches. But, given how some people reacted at this humble negative opinion about their untouchable idolized drama, I won't waste my time presenting arguments on what I like and what I don't like about this drama.

Exactly, that was just my opinion. We can have different opinions and express it courteously and reasonably without being ostracized of a comments section. On another note, it has nothing to do with how time travel dramas are made. It has also nothing to do with a supposed 'modern VS old dialogues' issue. All Asian dramas aren't made like this one. But you're right: there's plenty other dramas. I was actually just wondering if I was the only one being uncomfortable with the FL's rants.

I can't continue this drama. The FL is so tiring, she gives me headaches, I swear. She's always shouting, growling, talking aggressively to people, lamenting loudly and this constant screaming to herself and giving everything away about what's she's thinking... Glad she's not the usual stupid and useless FL and I kind of like her, but honestly I can't concentrate on what's happening on this drama because of her erratic and unreasonably anachronistic behavior.

They're not hating the actress, they're hating the character. Which is an absolutely logical thing to do because it is not a real human being but an actual character created by an actual writer.
You have to know that it's slow-paced to appreciate it but it is also warm and authentic. It was a thrilling and nostalgic moment for me. An unforgettable movie.
