It normally does afaik, but not in SK, due to the law of assumed paternity of a husband, so yeah. Male DNA giver can't register the child either at the district office, all parental rights are basically with the mother and her legal husband. This is very good in this case ngl. (I suppose JH could file a lawsuit, but i would almost bet the SK courts would decide in YD/TK's favor, because stable loving parents who are married and live together, very good income/jobs, loving environment (their own home), good family bg (gong chaebol fam etc) no mental/criminal problems etc)

I hope we get a scene where lawyer bro is like:

The cupid is definitely meant in regards of the leads sorting out their feelings with these two clowns meddling. I do not see how these two vomit vampires would end up together, and i don't have a strong enough stomach to even imagine it 🤢😂 especially since these spittle-dripping ninnyhammer are too busy hunger-gaming each other and clawing their eyes out. Their so called romance is long since past and my stomach and its content does thank the writers for making them DETEST each other. I do hope YD gets to know the truth about their affair SOON, just so she can give this cheating scumbag a final kick in the balls, lmao.

I think manic bullshit fairy definitely has the very very real potential to snap, as proven with her regular unhinged raging fits when things do not go her way. Deranged daisy is as sasaeng as it gets, completely consumed by delusion and thoughts of hurting/destroying the leads. From there and her thorough lack of any inhibition, it is only a small step to physical violence to reach her goal tbh. And like you, i actually expect batty betty going down that loony road further, and quite soon, at that. If dinglewaffle saves YD from that (preferably by dying), that would actually a redemption arc i would accept for him, lmao.

This scene was so so good, i love the way she addressed a lot of things and made clear where she stands and what she thinks, emotionally. One of the sweetest "I am yours if you will have me" scenes in kdrama, imo.

I do think inok's momzilla era will bleed into eps 34, tbh, but resolved halfway through or at the end. Also think the beach scene is gonna be the end of the episode with leads enjoying their new beginnings. Hope here like everyone for a kiss and love you's and ofc marriage registration before that heh. Either way a more calm and lovingly ending to the episode would make sense after what most likely is a stressful weekend for viewers and leads alike lol.

I still doubt insane clay-brained insect will be around to witness the marriage of her not father tbh. Too busy staring or jumping at the walls of her padded cell, lmao. You find guys like him at the nearest dumpster or at least this is where they belong, so that secretary should count her blessings she is not collecting this trash.😂

oh you may be on to something there. I mean he already told daddy stupid to think of him as a stranger instead a son, when he continues to demand to break up with YD. So i think TK walking out on his mother for YD (despite his words of being unable to choose YD and Jinjja are now his no.1 priority, always) will be the wake up call inok needs, and it will be a quick and much needed one at that. So there will be no long separation from the family either, i think. Maybe a few nights away at the hotel, i guess.

Yeah timejump does come around 37/38 from what i heard and a bts pic does show TK carrying jinjja in the close to chest strap-thingie (no idea how to call it rn) so they are still going strong as married couple/parents together then. Which probably tells you that the conflict is going to be resolved next weekend as the writer does not like dragging those things out in general, and also is about to shift focus from The Lie™ to the fruit person plot heh. For the whole ttalgi plot to get rolling, the lie subplot needs to be done and over with first tho. That is why it is revealed to everyone basically not just inok. Olive a girl? Fine by me. I think Jinjja is a girl too, tbh (TK's child looked also smol in the pic so yeah)

honestly i take corniness over whatever that is. There is being angry and hurt and there is being callous and selfish. Mama dearest, like her one braincell husband, seems to tilt too much into the latter category which does let my prior understanding for her hurt evaporate a bit i admit. Where was that energy when TK was about to be forced married to delulu dingleburger? Yeah, i am not sure what will happen to snap her out of her hysterics but it better happens fast. Maybe BN should try slapping some sense into her, like literally, lmao.

And i firmly believe the leads will never break up in this drama anymore, they are a done deal and soon to be legally married. Those assurances we heard go beyond lipservices of staying at the others side, it is all the more about not running away from their problems/mistakes made, and them keeping to try to get their forgiveness, no matter how long it takes. It is teamwork for both of them and that is what they have sworn to do. After all, they are going to be parents to a small child in a couple of months, so they cannot run away at the slightest inconvenience and opposition but have to weather it, side by side, together. That teamwork required is, in fact, a good practice for later, for parenthood and its struggles. Hence why i believe their beach date will be basically honeymoon and thus a happy one. That scene at the beginning was so so so satisfying. The character development of this man throughout this drama is a thing of beauty, seriously 🥹 and has come full circle here) Even better was Yeondoo rolling in like a boss, like literally with her iv stand (?) thingie and be like I GOT THINGS TO SAY. And I got my popcorn ready, because boooooi she did not take prisoners here. Everything I wanted her to say to , she did, especially the bit with him losing all rights to be a father as soon he demanded her to get an abortion. YAS QUEEN, meek in front of insufferable ex no longer. About time too. “Even if TK wasn’t in the picture I would never go back to you. Ever. Do not touch me.” The way I cheered ngl, even more so when decrepit dumpsterdiver had to watch TK zooming past him to take YD into his arms and then hug for a long time. HAHAHAHAA EAT SHIT

No matter what anyone says you are Jinjja’s father and I stay at your side. I won’t run away.” The way both of them constantly reassure themselves of their love for each other and how they will stay, steadfast through thick and thin no matter what comes is a thing of beauty. I love their emotional bond so much, it runs so deep by now. They are a true team, so married and parents to be, in everything together now. TK also could only act toward cockroach this way because YD gave him the security before that with the bracelet and her words. TK from five eps would have floundered under JH’s demands still. But no longer, he is the father and stays at her side, come what may. Us against the world if need be. I am not crying you are crying. Needless to say Taekyung’s favorite song toward his family is “I won’t leave her” as he keeps singing it, and I love him for it. Rarely have I seen a ML so determined in his conviction and unwavering in his love for FL against all opposition like Taekyung. GREEN FLAG KING (and queen) indeed.

“Jinjja is so lucky! There's no father like you in the world!” I see what you do here, writer, hehehe. And the way he proudly smiled, too cute. I love the way Bongnim adores TK and I hope their inlaw relationship won’t be destroyed after the truth is out :(

Patrick finding his one braincell and empathy kernel to give them his approval with a caveat of telling inok of course and yeah, we will see how this goes next weekend. Probably with TK singling his favorite I WONT LEAVE HER song a lot. TK definitely has turned the word “dad” into an effective weapon to wield. Pavlov’ s bell indeed. YD is hugging him freely now, we have come so far. Hope we get a kiss when this is all resolved (at the beach?) Of course the family party scene is too happy you just know it can’t last, but still LOOK AT HOW FAR THEY ALL HAVE COME.

Taekyung cutest appa 2023. Not him playing with the baby gifts from their family, trying out the too small hat and being caught by wifey and feeling embarrassed before wearing it with pride. This is really one step closer to banana man/dad bc this man is going to do all the silly things to entertain and bond with his kid, just wait and see hehe. And such cute microexpressions of AJH here too. Love how it expresses how he grows more comfortable in this role with each day and them as a couple in general.

No, even with all the birth secret theories I don’t think she is ahjumma’s daughter (but who knows even at this point lmao) but I rather think… another subtle hint about Jinjja being a girl? Oh I know the scene was about gran missing ttalgi (romanized korean always looks super-weird to me ngl) but hey I am putting this on my list of reasons why TK/YD getting a daughter, lol.

I will ask a lawyer friend with how we can protect Jinjja (from fifflefaffle fido) Well, I am no lawyer but seeing how you would be the legal father at birth of your child, Taekyung when you are MARRIED to Yeondoo, doing the required paperwork would be a great start. I knew the confession was coming thanks to spoilers but I always thought it was in the safety of their home with TK at YD’s side pulling Inok aside. NOT LIKE THIS, ugh. This is again way more brutal and cruel and the writer in me wants to congratulate the team while my viewer self screams in agony at how public and alone YD has to do this because demonic beetle-boned peekgoose forced her hands. Ouch. This is way worse than just knowing the spoilers.

So I know Inok basically transforms into screeching momzilla and I defended her right to be angry and hurt. This is still valid but piecing the preview events together thanks to twitter, it does not look good for the lasting effect of my sympathy for her. As we have her ask YD how dare she being here again, which implies she threw YD out. And then we also have her waltzing to BN and telling her about it, without any heed being given to YD/TK to do so themselves, plus what looks like emotional blackmail toward Taekyung in a “choose me or Yeondoo, you cannot have both.” manner.Which, yeah, yikes yikes yikes. I know or rather hope there is more to it than this 30 seconds highlight reel of shittiness or else inok ends up high on my shitlist next to her asshole of an husband. Seems they suit each other with how little regard and all the more audacity they have toward Taekyung. I love how cool the gong fam is about it, like they don’t care?
