oh this is interesting, a similar case albeit with an unwilling legal father. Regarding SK law it really all stands and falls with Yeondoo and Taekyung being legally married before birth because it would give fuckboi zero possibility to ruin things for them then. At birth and as husband to Yeondoo, Taekyung automatically becomes the legal father of the child then, Of course YD has to register Jinjja (with TK being named as the father) at the district office, but legally it is as a done deal as it gets regarding TK's rights and responsibilities as the child's father. Like, it is that done a deal then that Taekyung would have to actively have to file a lawsuit to get out of being legally recognized as the child's father which lol would be the opposite what he wants of course. JH as dna giver has zero claims in SK, which is a good thing in this case lol:

Yep totally agree here. It is just about his ego I'm not buying him suddenly finding a string of care. Pissing on demonic delulu lunas unhinged plans is the bare minimum to do now tbh but it will never be enough to undo all the damage done. Yeondoo and Taekyung would be step cousins not siblings. They don't share the same (adoptive) father after all. And bongnim would be his father's sister and step aunt to TK then lmao. imo bongnim is the most likely option by now seeing how it fits with the characters ages, and there is the rumor that Jinjja is blood related to the gongs either way. I would prefer the less messy version of it being someone new too but knowing family dramas and their love for messy fam relations it is most likely bongnim lol. Would make it meaningful for gran too as her own grandchild taught her to write and read the etc. We will see 😁

She is related to Jinjja either way and her main worry to begin with was YD having to raise Jinjja on her own, which she is not now and Taekyung, whom she loves a lot, stays at YD's side as father and husband. So him not being the bio dad changes little (maybe we also get to know more of BNs background this way, how she too was adopted etc) But yeah I didn't think I would see the day where bongnim is seemingly the rational one of the two moms and in general lmao

Her being upset and hurt about having her trust betrayed and being lied to for weeks is not mutually exclusive from her understanding their situation tho. It is just one has to come after the other because it requires her being able to put her own hurt feelings aside to look at the situation rationally and listen to what they have to say. And for this to happen she needs a bit of leeway and time to process the shocking news. As said before it is not about Jinjja not being her son's bio child, but about them deceiving her from the get go without ever coming clean until circumstances forced them to.

yeah weird to think that DS and YD are just ten years apart tbh. I kinda think now that bongnim got adopted into the kang fam as their first kid and then DS was born much later, so he grew up knowing her as sister/noona obviously. I still want to know why the children have different surnames but if i remember right than it is due to them taking on the father's name in SK, i guess? Would love to know what exactly happened to their father as he was mentioned once in a throwaway dialogue and then never again. No one seems to miss him either, lol.

yeah it will take around 1 1/2 episode for it to be resolved i would think, since they need time for their beach date after all, lol. And agreed that it is too much yelling at clouds atm, it is better to wait and see for ourselves how it turns out.
