But of course the most uninvited guest ever is creeping the clinic halls, so he has to take the thick-headed, unfeeling fool of a father with him to talk to him. I love how he refuses to let him see YD here. He is so protective of her here. Hence why TK instructs his bestie to stay at YD’s side before doing so and he notices something is up. The shooting light is reflecting in HW’s glasses it seems lol.

TK is pissed Patrick met YD behind his back and blindsided him, as he should. Fully justified. I think his one quarter of a braincell allows himself to confess that it was a mistake but also I am living for TK being like “I have nothing else to tell you. Leave.” “nothing to tell? And what is about your mother?” and does the same himself, letting iq-less ingrate sitting there like the dumdum he is. I also think hypocrite is hypocriting over Jinjja not wanting for TK to be the father or something like that.

Inok wants sourgrapes to be honest I think? I don’t care overly much. Moving on to the leads and TK’s excellent 24/7 care. And they address the elephant in the room with why she met with Patrick despite it all and TK deduces that she may have planned to break up with him due to feeling so guilty after the talk with patrick stupidface. Once more I love his tenderness with her, giving her a new sonogram pic of jinjja and finding the right words to assure her the child is alright. And not only that but to assure her that Jinjja is the reason “we are here, that we met and did the contract and came to love each other. Without the kid, we would not know each other, so don’t think of it as something bad or feel guilty. Don’t cry!” and these are the words YD needed to hear you can see the relief in every of her fiber. Love how gently he wipes away her tear, touches do happen more naturally between them now and also AJH has a nice back and butt hehehe.

And this mutt of a father sits cross-armed at the table not even telling anyone that YD got hospitalized while the rest of the fam wonders where they are. It needs TK to call his mother for the fam to get to know about it and their reaction is really sweet, like this is genuine fear for not only her well-being but also Jinjja’s. Even asshole bro is less an asshole here which, woah, mark your calendars, but he has lived through that so he probably finds a string of empathy here at least. That role of asshole is now clearly taken by his ingrate of a father anyway. Everyone is super-relieved that it is nothing serious and ofc TK stays at YD’s side so this was a heads up that he won’t come home as much as an update in general. And then SJ talks to SJ checking in with her, and we have granny yelling at YD bc she is the type to yell at you when she is worried and gets angry aaaaaaw. That scene of HW and YD together is so wholesome. He basically tells her that he has never seen TK like that. Super-worried and always by her side and even crying so he asks her to not get hurt again aww. Another aww is sourgrapes visiting YD in the clinic, which woah, huge. There is still trouble in paradise bc HW is super cold toward her but for now JM focuses on YD and checks in with her. Awwww besties to be, I call it now. And Yeondoo sees right thru her attempt to be here as it is not fully for her sake but to see HW and she gives her the advice to do that after sourgrapes denies it. So both have a talk and basically the result is… welp. Divorce. I personally think it being better this way but this can still go in either direction. But he seems way more finished with their relationship than her. So we will see if she fights or gives up and moves on. I would prefer the latter, but also lets move on.

I love how all characters basically serve to strengthen YD in her resolve to stay at Taekyung’s side instead of leaving. Listening to it again, it is the opposite, i think. Lol, he tells them that TK is the father and all that, effectively protecting TK and YD here. And so these two demon clowns get off his back. Maybe his one braincell has noticed that their obsessive investment into the private gong matters is really not normal, at last.

Underappreciated moment appreciation: Taekyung calling himself "appa" when he talked to Jinjja at the end of the episode. The character development of this man is never not beautiful tbh <3
