In both senses of the word, honestly 😂. For the narrative of a man hating marriage learning to love being part of a family of his own making (wife, kid) finding a place to belong there, and for a woman who lost it all and was beaten down to find her way and love again, she has like zero importance. Except to push the both characters that matter together through her clown schemes. That is her sole purpose. And ineffectual conflict creation, i guess.

I love that the writer does seems to care to punish assholes being assholes in his story instead of letting them reign free with everything and even redeem them in the end. As said, i do think manic barbie gonna warm a spot in the prison in the end, as i cannot see her stopping the creepy crap she is doing tbh.

I love LOVE love the pace the writer is having with this story. Like it is faster than most 16 eps kdramas and he absolutely does not dawdle on things that serve no purpose in the story. He could have given us a few weeks of hesitation and angst but he said NOPE and instead resolved it all in a SINGLE episode. LOVE TO SEE IT. Here we go folks, episode 20. My head is still spinning from yesterday, so lets see if the writer is keeping up the breakneck speed or if we get episodes of aaaaangst.

We left off on the bridge of confession(tm), this time however not used for one, alas. Yeondoo is very shaken by Taekyung’s words and him being the one who calls it quit. She asks why so suddenly and he is like is this not what you wanted? It seems he is… testing her, to see if there is protest from her side and his face falls when she agrees to end the contract/things between them. YD is not unaffected by it, near tears she turns to walk away with TK watching after her, heart in his throat.

SJAF starts early as we have psycho joker storming into the office to check the phone she has from her ex, I meant YD’s ex. Well, both their exes lmao. And lbr the most delusional thing she has done is not creeping after TK, but for her to expect the phone to be still having battery after all this time lol

Back in the annex, it is YD’s turn of a sleepless night induced by lovesickness. About time she gets her share hahaaha and well, she is not drunk texting TK because she is pregnant after all but this is as close to a rambly 3 am text message as it gets. With her yelling via text at him why he wants to call it quit and if he can even be called a human, have you no feelings etc…. I am cackling. Whatever TK’s intent was with it, he shook her good. Probably a much needed wake up call. Since she is not drunk tho, she did not sent it in the end and just went back to “sleep”

Sorry not the violent sort normally but these characters do give me thousand ideas how to murder them, whoops.
