Plus he thinks it is one-sided, so he is going to end things between them and move on. It is probably what he had done in his prior, more physical relationships when the women he's been with wanted more/came too close for comfort, so he is trying to do the same here. Only this time his feelings are real and running deep, they are the real deal (puns intended) so him cutting his losses and move on won't work like usually.

That is why we see him being so final toward YD in telling her "he has someone he loves" but omitting the fact that is her.... and also trying to convince himself that he is doing the right thing and that he can do it (aka forget her and move on) Well we all know how this will go, but good luck Taekyung, i guess😂

I felt it when TK felt it in their bed, especially when he brushed her forehead. And during their couple yoga scenes. It is not the all consuming sizzling kind, and a bit awkward in an endearing way but very very warm. Like between long time partner if that makes sense?

there is a reason why i only call her sourgrapes in my summaries and basically skip their scenes unless i rewatch it subbed on my own time. She is one of the most miserable characters i have seen in a long while, and it is all self-made misery at that. Ugh. Such an unpleasant needlessly sour person.

halfway point i think. Dunno why it just seems to fit well in closing the arc of their contract with starting a real relationship and then focus on Jinjja and growing together in the second half. Two weeks aka 4 episodes do not seem much either or stretch it out too much. But we will see ;)

I do ask myself that too, why do i write like 3k of summary 2 times a week for a 50 eps show? Hahahaha, sheer insanity i think, but i am glad you like my incomplete ramblings that lack a lot compared to the subs. But oh well, they serve a good purpose here now i guess. Aka a bad or good episode early detection and the SJAF, of course. Which thankfully wasn't high this episode. Oh for sure there will be a lot of shenanigans still, seeing we are not even halfway through the show. But i still appreciate that the writing is not static, it is always moving forward and quickly. Shifting/creating conflicts and solving older ones in a timely manner too. But in five enough the leads also married in episode 21 and stayed together all the way through.... yet there were still enough conflicts from outer sources to keep it interesting. I think or at least hope that the writer won't drag out the leads' separation and handle it similar then. Actually looking forward to fuckboi making his comeback as it will create some delicious probs for stalking stacey more than for the leads, as he has proven to want be far away from any baby to care for. I actually kinda have grown fond of family dramas, since i love how much time you spend with the characters, particularly the leads and their development is more natural bc there is more time for it. So i think i will make a point to watch more, if slowly.

I would love if it is just of brief duration and i agree that the moms are going to be an important factor here. After all YD's brother heard of TK supposedly loving another woman already and confronts him in the hotel about it. Hence BN will know too, i think. Which means YD is going home maybe and that will bring the team mom into action too, i think. Can't wait for the next episode.

Oh okay, i am not sure what YD should have done any better here other than take failwitches head and smack it into the wall maybe 😂 She spoke up a total of three times in this episode alone and all was to set boundaries and defend Taekyung, and she handled all the instances with class. It was perfectly suited to her character who is rather the type to kill with kindness so swearing is off the table, even if she has a temper and don't mess with me attitude when needed.

She also knows now about snoopy creep and what she has done, so i am sure she will apply that info in the future accordingly. 😎

It indeed gives me war flashbacks to bora deborah, ngl. Both FL and ML, in fact. Because like the FL there Yeondoo has lost the belief in love and to be worth being loved romantically by a man after being cheated on by a longterm partner (and took a massive nosedive in self-confidence) while like the ML there, Taekyung does not know how to deal with his romantic feelings for FL nor to express them. So he ends up doing nothing at all with biding his time in purgatory and in between everything. And like DB's ML, he just makes it worse this way, also with his constant denial and insistence on how his niceness should not mistaken for feelings etc It is rather uncanny how similar it all is to DB in this regard haha (with the exception that while TK had been in relationships, he has never been seriously in love before. All fun and games until cupid strikes for real haha)

I don't think it will be this easy tho alas. He is going to end things instead of confessing to her. In the preview he sounds like convincing himself with sentences like "it is for the best" And "it is what I should do" which sounds like a thorough dive into the denial river to me. I'm happy if he comes up for air quickly but rn he sounds like he is lying to himself a lot and still needs time to come to terms with loving YD.

Fwiw; I think he is kinda aware of being in love with her by now, but does still suppress it as these feelings SHOULD NOT BE THERE in the first place. Hence why he is applying ostrich tactics.

Even deeper? Hah. Don't think it is possible tbh. 😁 He has just not realized how deep it all runs, since he never was really in love before. When he does come to this point tho, i think he will be the one to act and... confess that the someone he likes/loves is indeed and always has been YD.

But that is the interesting part about this trope, if frustrating... both are scared of admitting their feelings to themselves and to each other, because they are utterly convinced it can only end up in failure, bc it is one-sided. So better not try at all and forget that there ever such a thing existed. Conceal don't feel, lol. Will work without any hiccups or setbacks i am sure. No problem at all, nor will their feelings ever grow past beyond that when they stop seeing each other 🤣 I love these idiots but i also want to give them a good shake by their shoulders hahaha
