i feel he needs time to process it all first as everything happened so fast with falling for YD and her wanting to move past everything/him on her own. TK not really had a moment to breathe, to gather his thoughts. (and when he does he thinks of HER so yeeeeah :D) But he also thinks they are not seeing eye to eye with were they are at, emotion-wise. He obviously does want to be with her for real and maybe is even a little bit scared of that, but when facing him, she once more friend-bombed him. Thus i get why he is backing down bc he thinks it is one-sided anyway and no use to dwell on it, so he just flees into denial/distance, for now. He will come around after we took the usual spin on the angst carousel dw haha

Oh nvm, it looks like he is going to confess having feelings. The ending scene is primed for a scene like that. So YD with her ass firmly planted in denial-land is more the problem between the two, lol.

If twitter people are to believed it was a good good episode in terms of the leads, which is normally prone to doom and gloom regarding this drama tbh. We are getting now into the meat of things which also means aaaaaaaangst that has zero to do with sasaeng sissy (the way she was told off by YD, bleeeeeessssss) and all with them being idiots in love that deny their feelings for each other.

Does it, though? I see rather a trend to focus on the leads and their relationship now, and lbr SJ is just buzzing fly lvl background noise regarding her narrative importance. She does not matter beyond her very narrow purpose and the as narrow acting of CJY .

Sure, it is important the drama continues the trend of focusing on other characters and the leads more now instead to overly feature the screechy asylum, but also we are also not yet halfway through the drama. So to say it is a trainwreck is saying that a 16 eps kdrama is a trainwreck because the leads have not kissed yet in episode 6 tbh 🤷‍♂️

Thus unless it does drag its feet for another 6-8 episodes regarding the leads relationship, and its resident sasaeng, i am not bothered. (Which i don't believe it will since its pacing, while slow in parts, had been steady with story seeds planted where needed and conflicts solved quickly in other parts.) But then again, i could never take Clownie's elementary school bully schemings and delulu plans to "marry the prince" or her character seriously AT ALL, so that definitely helps my enjoyment here lmao.

(Since i finished Five Enough now, which was very different in its focus to TRHC, i plan to watch Once Again next as my slow watch, btw. Gotta see what the hype is about, heh)

Since this is makjang, i actually expect her to fall deeper into her delusion and obsession, especially now where it is not alone about status and marrying rich, but actually "getting the man" (who cannot get away from her fast enough tbh 😂) too. Hence why i can see her shifting gears once her fakeass niceness performance falls thru (further) and go psycho on Yeondoo instead - to "get her out of the way." But given her track record of epic failing all it will achieve is TK going psycho on HER instead and a nice cozy spot in jail, lmao.

Yes, FL is the worst human trash (along with her shitty friend) and it actually made me sick how they made ML fall for her. This drama was a whole bag of yikes for too many reasons. ML deserved so much better.

you gotta weather it to episode 7, tho, should you watch, because the second part is much better and you see their character development come into play then. It is a journey heavily focused on characters that are flawed and struggle but never give up to find their way after all.

just finished and yeah they indeed did, haha..The way he did aegyo with her then tho, omg. Happy he knows now when and how to make an effort to not revert back to overthinking, heh. I think he needed as much security as Bora did to let go and feel comfortable to get to that part of their relationship where certainty reigns.

Surprisingly good ending for a show so pressed for time to get everything sorted and the pacing issues some episodes, too. Glad the writer was able to the curveball after all to give a satisfying conclusion (minus the shotgun wedding and uri/sangjin will never work for me, but eeeh)

(Also gotta add that i am not as extreme as Soohyuk, because even i wanted to shake him by the shoulders to DO SOMETHING in that scene with just Bora talking. Imo, the man needs therapy, as there seems trauma to be into play here too, not just introvertness.)
