yeah better to wait until it is finished in two weeks to watch it then, bc the weekly wait is agony. It is the kind of show better (binge) watched than on weekly basis, as i think than the story feels less "stretched out" due to the waiting time for new episode and its slow build.
i mean the drama is based on the novel called "THE GOLDEN HAIRPIN" which is a privilege/item reserved for the queen, afaik. So that is why i keep my prayer circle for this ending intact, haha. (if they were to marry after all, they would have to go against conventions anyway and JY described Hwan as man who paves new ways (for her), so yeah, here is hoping heh)

Yeeees, i love him *highfive* Honestly, mr. queen was one of my first ever kdramas and i was soooo impressed by the leads' acting that both of them became my insta-faves regarding actors and still are. By now i have caught up on most of their works too, but i still love mr. queen still the most. Total comfort drama for me now i can watch whenever i feel down. So good too.
KJH is such a versatile actor with a massive range, so i hope he will add a lot of projects to his repertoire now where he is finally back. Kokdu kinda fizzled out for me (have it on hold still) but he and his acting definitely was the highlight of it. As much i love his comedic actin, i have my fingers crossed he can show his vast abilities in a serious drama soon like a thriller or (another not ill-fated) melodrama. He would excel there even more i think. Can't wait for Haesun to finally come back on my screen too. It has been too long tbh :(
Idk, the comments once more show that ppl don't understand introverts in calling the lead couple boring and cold (however tongue in cheek) , just because they don't fill every silence with useless chatter and words. As an introvert myself, the most precious (and oh so rare) people to me are the ones I can be comfortable in silence with (and don't get super-nervous when i don't talk for a hot minute or ten.) And their relationship shows that they have found that with each other.
Sure, rn there is also the awkwardness of a new relationship and the additional weight of keeping secrets from WJ's side bearing things down, but overall their way of non-verbal communication works for them and suits their characters. They don't need many words, for them their presence and just being with each other is what counts. (Which is why i think DJ is better suited to be with WJ than he ever was with his ex, who found his silence suffocating)

There is a slight possibility they changed it for the drama (like minuscule) bc as ppl said here in the comments, in the novel the missing prince is Kang San. So a misdirect/red herring seems more likely, but we will see heh. I am fine with either, tbh.
I am at Episode 9 and by now i am so damn tired of Ji Soo still being brought up every hot minute. OH MY GOD SHUT UP, ABOUT HER. I love the drama otherwise, but this REALLY annoys me. I get that this sci-fi AI fantasy thingie was used as a plot device earlier in the drama (SO MUCH SUSPENSION OF BELIEF NEEDED HERE BTW this is not how AI works) to bring the leads closer, help them to move on etc. But i literally screamed in my pillow in frustration when homegurl whipped out this shitty device again so late in the show. She is going to be the proverbial wrench in the leads' relationship with a big stinking heap of overstepping any boundaries and meddling in business that could not be any less hers. Gosh their scenes together, my heartuuuu still flutters π₯°π₯°π₯° But on the other hand it gives me a lot of anxiety too, due to WJ being so uncharacteristically puckered up and mum, until it all (will) explodes in her face. I get she is afraid of that but the longer she waits, the worse it gets. Very frustrating if human.
However, I'm enjoying dongjin's smiley boy era for as long as I can for now, he is like a tall adorable puppy you want to wrap in blankets and protect of all evil. And while we are speaking of his mother, where is truck-kun when you need him for once? Sorry not sorry but this would solve SO MANY problems lmao.

i heard (read) about that and this didn't entice me additionally to stick to the show, tbh. Annoying music every five minutes is one thing but a weak frustratingly acting lead a fully other and the last straw for it from me.

Idk the romantic affection seems very clearly mutual and very defined already with one guy only from FL's side. Which is ML (Kang San) who gets all the romance scenes while the other guys are purely portrayed in a platonic way. There is the typical longtime friend having a secret crush on FL but it has no bearings on her.
