Also so far i like season 2 more as it focuses on the cases only and gives more time for the team to manipulate shady assholes in the most hilarious and satisfying ways. Like i could watch the rainbow crew just doing their elaborate revenge/ruin schemes in episodic format without overarching plot for endless hours, ngl. However, I expect a dive into more emotional/serious territory soon as the show tends to do. But for now i am just enjoying their scammer trolling of the highest grade and jehoon/kim do gi being a cutie xD

So she played best friends with him to knock him out and he basically spent the rest of the drama searching for his best buddy "Lee Saeng Mang", never once recognizing that it was actually the queen in man's clothes (until she revealed it to him herself)😂 Same vibe with the sergeant here, tbh xD

i mean the leads here have been very slowly getting to know and opened up to each other, so it checks all these boxes of them not being instantly in love bc they are the leads and "destined to be", but gradually falling for each other instead. That may not work for you for whatever reasons here, but it is exactly what they have been doing and how their romance is built up. Slow and steady with lot of trust and support for each other.
Honestly, FM lead and Han Sung On are a better match for me,but I guess the prince-FM-lead couple was decided…
SML here is as interesting as watching paint dry to me, so i am totally fine with the *active* choice to love ML and the crown prince that FL made (instead you know... being funneled in a marriage bc there was no other choice for her... outside of hoping her future hubby checks the barest minimum requirement of human decency, that is) I don't have watched that drama but if you want to see a king losing out on FL in the end, give the older, ironically-titled "the king in love" a try, maybe? Also the new "romantic guesthouse" sageuk that has started airing today seems to fully take place outside the palace.
So they are mightily hinting at a crown princess/queen ending for Jae Yi in eps 13 i think 👀 Because there are now covert plans in motion to find a suitable wife for Hwan that is not from the most powerful (and corrupt) family which... check. And Jae Yi also confessed that she wants to stay at hwan's side but not as head eunuch, which "was just an excuse" So what option is left then to stay at his side (AND love him), i wonder? 😏
