I watched the first episode lol but in Mexico will be available until February 2 😅
It's available till Feb 2 in Germany too, which seems doable for me (just started it) I am way too used to one hour long episodes in recent dramas so the looooooong individual episode length of PP is stressing me out a little haha

Title Trolley
FR. I am watching this in the speed of my country's netflix releasing the episodes, which is two per week... and…
Yeah, true. I prefer to watch dramas as they air because it is fun to be part of the discussion about its plot and characters. Also two episodes per week are way better manageable than 16 at once. And there is far less danger to run into ending spoilers when you are in it every step of the way.

But I also love to supplement them with older dramas from my ptw list i can watch at my own pace and to bridge the waiting time for airing dramas of course :)

For me it depends on the drama. A older, light romcom or generally "feel good" comedic drama is more bingeable than in-depth, heavy, character-focused stories, whether with romance or without. Thrillers and the like are however best watched bit by bit, bc they tend to tire me out. (I think the only exception to the rule here was FoE for me, which i completed in two days bc it was too damn good haha)

Title Trolley
this drama causes me a lot of stress and anxiety
FR. I am watching this in the speed of my country's netflix releasing the episodes, which is two per week... and that seems ideal for this heavier more slow drama tbh. I honestly would struggle to digest more of it than two episodes in a couple of days tbh.

Correct me if Im wrong this So Rang fell in love first with the king? I can tell that she loves him already in…
Yep she fell first (when watching over him sleeping) but he definitely fell harder, haha
On Lucky Romance Jan 16, 2023
Obligatory Ryu Joon Yeol is the cutest and Lee Hyeri is a lucky woman comment, but he is... particularly in this role of a nerdy dork aww. He is so adorable and a great actor to boot with how he gave life to this role. (And his smile gives ME life, ngl) Actually he is the reason i stuck with the drama thus far even though it has so many frustrating elements, especially its FL. Dear god this woman is just.... i want to grab her by the shoulders and shake her for an hour or two and after that send off to a lifetime of therapy sessions.

The last time i have seen such a self depreciating, weakass FL was in Another Miss Oh and i HATED her since she never improved. It is the same with this FL argh, like i am at episode 11 and she STILL runs away from everything, shuts down her feelings and blames herself for whenever the weather is rainy or something. i She is the source of misery for everyone, blah blah blah. She actually needs therapy not a relationship, but then again i am rooting for poor Sooho and his happiness too much already and the sweet cinnamon roll is sadly head over heels for her superstitious self-pitying ass. I keep waiting for the romance to romancing in this romcom but so far it is very one-sided with the sweet man doing his best and the FL doing fuckall, ugh. Very frustrating and if it weren't for RJY's endearing one man show i would have dropped a long time ago. Definitely makes me wanna watch Reply 1988, tho heh.

You know it wasn’t going to be that serious when in the first episode it tells us this is parallel universe…
Yeah they threw palace etiquette harder out of the window than even in Mr. Queen, lol. Basically the one rule they kept is Queen= needing to be a noble lady but everything else? The palace is a free real estate lmao.

It will all balance out in the upcoming episodes, keep watching ;)
On Strangers Again Jan 15, 2023
Guess i am to blame for the title change of the drama here (since i submitted an edit), whoops. But Strangers Again is indeed the title under which it is to find in Viki and the other OTT (forgot the name)

I expect a lotta crucial plot things to happen, most of all Sorang taking back her name and reelaim the rights/title…
I thought it was sour, but bitter seems fitting too. Haha, that would be quite a hint tho, but we will see. Seeing they have three kids in the webtoon tho, I think that the pregnancy will come up either in the next or last episode. Otherwise kdrama would not have "gone all the way" if it weren't relevant for the story and showing how they are starting their family there. (Same with mr. queen, where they showed the leads spending the night together🤭)

Yes i love them so much, they are the chaotic royal pairing i didn't know i needed haha (especially after mr.queen left a vacancy there in this regard) Aww, more like thank you for reading all my rambling, lol. Now it is time for the homestretch.

Seems they struggle to find people there atm, as this is not the only very soon releasing drama without a channel…
Oh no problem, don't worry. I doubt these people are paid other than with a free viki pass and it entails a lot of work and organization afaik, since these people are quasi the "boss" of the group of people who are translating the subs and responsible to coordinate and organizing their workload, i suppose. Hence why only people who have done prior and enough subbing work can apply as a channel manager. It seems a bit of a stressful, thankless job to volunteer for tbh, so i am not surprised there are phases where suiting ppl are like naaah i'll pass, lol.

Also licensed K-PLUS as Strangers Again.
That seems to be the official international title for it then, right?

Viki is looking for a channel manager for Can we be Stranger. How long will that take?
Seems they struggle to find people there atm, as this is not the only very soon releasing drama without a channel manager right now. (Kokdu also has none and is due for release in about 10 days)

The foot of a lioness with a mane is always the wrong foot, and he dared to go after her baby cub! Rawr, mama…
Haha yes, episode 2 will be certainly interesting when they meet again 😁
On Crash Course in Romance Jan 15, 2023
I really appreciate that the drama takes the time to let us get to know each character individually and how they live/tick etc. Makes me care more about them than when they are thrown together at minute one. Sure the first episode wasn't the most action-packed one, but had enough happening to keep me entertained. And the ending with the food... aww hah, i knew he would like it. Too bad they started off on a very wrong foot tho xD

I mean this dude chose to run away from a former professional and national athlete (with her brother's phone) which went as well as you can imagine it would and i love that xD

Ngl i appreciate kdramas where the leads meet in a very chaotic way and form for the first time. Bc i always imagine how (much) later on this is going to make one hell of a story on parties etc of how they met their significant other, and this greatly amuses me.

they mention he has congential heart disease so perhaps a fever is worrisome with that issue. I know if my mom…
Oh, guess i missed that bit of dialogue then, whoops. In this case it makes sense then, but tbh kdrama is generally very over-dramatic with even mild fevers so i could not help to roll my eyes when i saw that once more lol. For him tho it is better to be monitored then, true. But if there are no underlying (chronic) illnesses such as here (for once), just go to sleep and stay hydrated. Sleep is the best medicine in case of fever while the body/immune system does its thing, and that in your bed at home, not the hospital.

Then again, kdrama characters go even so with a cold into the emergency room and any kind of exposure to rain is near fatal for them, s i should stop trying to apply logic here xD
