My recap thingie is late today bc I'm busy and not home yet. Read some spoilers tho and are not surprised or angered about the ending. Heon has a right to feel upset and needs some time to process it. I doubt he will stay mad for long tho heh.
KYD's acting is too funny. He's improved so much since Extraordinary You! So, I told myself I wasn't going to…
I see this kind of comment so often lately and it just tells me that you all have skipped out on Sh**ting Stars. KYD is fantastic as ML there, crazy eyes inclusive 😆 Go watch a very lively KYD in there, if you haven't.
And I think his role in extraordinary you also required a certain artificial layer as he was playing a role in a role which was "stiff" and restricted by design for plot reasons, so to speak.
Yea I think the King will know her real identity in episode 9
Same but it is about time it comes to light, as the reason for hiding it is long not valid anymore. Aka EBM tries to kill her off either way, no matter her name.
Eh, i speedran my way through the last six episodes to see how it ended and was only mildly entertained at best. The best character gets the most abysmal treatment which killed off any shred of engagement i still had with it. Basically the whole story amounts to nothing and i feel like i have wasted my time sticking to it, even on 2x speed. Meh.
I cannot get over the fact that Hae Won framed the big reveal of her aunt as though she was the worst when in…
If you are on your phone and don't use the app but open the mdl page in the browser there is weirdly enough a share option for the comment if you click the three dots. It only exists in the mobile browser version tho, hence why i find it so weird that it is not a general option tbh.
But if all fails, feel free to c+p my comment if that helps heh
This is an interesting drama overall, but dear god it is so damn slow. Like one episode feels like three hours and to get to episode 6 took me two weeks lol. Definitely not a bingeable show, but a good choice if you want a mature approach to romance and character-focused stories for a slow watch. Rowoon as eye-candy definitely helps here too. He plays such a straightforward flirty boi in this drama it is amusing to see (tho the first two episodes he was a bit much in overstepping boundaries again and again tbh)
I don't hate him.....i dislike how he handled n did things.
Same. Plus he is not an interesting character to valid any strong feelings such as hate. It is just a resounding meh regarding him for me. I like him when the trio is together, creating chaos, tho. Otherwise he is just.... there.
May I Help You (deals a lot with trauma/grief/guilt and death/moving on, but romance is mature, supportive and…
btw, it helps to give recs when you put the dramas you already have watched in your mdl list. Just saying that since you have still an empty list, so it is hard to recommend shows ;)
this is definitely my type to watchi highly recommend it if you like heavy, dark, emotional, romancecan anyone…
May I Help You (deals a lot with trauma/grief/guilt and death/moving on, but romance is mature, supportive and cute + some mystery whodunnit whathappened parts. Gradual storytelling that requires you to pay attention to the details) Just Between Lovers (trauma/survivor guilt, moving on after a tragic accident, finding comfort in each other) Thirty But Seventeen/Still 17 (I know you are already watching this, but it should be mentioned as the portrayal and way trauma/ptsd is handled in this drama is one of the best i have seen in a kdrama. Healing drama, but lighter and uplifting with heavy bits of ptsd/trauma depiction. Great leads, stellar acting and chemistry, cute romance and gradual storytelling. One of the most wholesome kdramas i have ever seen. He Is Psychometric - Romance/Thriller mix with some comedy mixed in, gets darker later on i heard (have only watched a couple eps thus far)
Anyone else get the feeling that the sml doesn't give two shits about the King outside of duty? Like you can clearly…
Just another reason why i am not liking SML not overly much tbh. I mean i don't hate him or anything, as this would require having any strong emotions about this character, when he is just ... there. Like a cardboard cutout figure basically, lmao.
Yeeeeeah it is always a bit of a struggle to get an edit approved, tbh and the mods' reasoning/decisions seems arbitrary at times. I had never trouble *adding* tags tho, but the removal of one seems to be more difficult for some reason.
And you are right, tags are best changed when the drama is airing or completed since then it is not longer a guessing game about the validity of a tag. Since we know the story/characters/tropes etc then and all. So i leave it at oh well i tried, for now haha
Alas it got rejected out of the reason that there are two female leads and i did not specify which one??? If i say FL i always mean FL and not SFL but okay. Weird hill to die on as a reason to reject the removal tbh. And the irony is we know even less about SFL than FL by now so the tag remains to be nonsense.
I have no patience to spin the wheel again in the mod roulette atm to get another result with some luck, but yall feel free to try it yourself lol.
