oooo so it must be good good dramaof course it's good drama, i meant it gotta be since Hyesun acted in it (on…
IT IS. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. So heartwarming but also ripping it out to stomp on it at times, only to put it back in with lots of care and humor and love for its characters. ML's/Sejong's depiction of trauma and how he acts due to it (him falling back into old, unhealthy behavior patterns after having a ptsd episode) and Hyesun/Seori tearing down/melting those emotional walls little by little with just being her sweet caring and honest self (while he also takes up professional counseling to deal with his worsening ptsd) is so well done and their relationship one of the most wholesome dynamics in a kdrama ever. MDL's synopsis is really on point here, bc Seori is not the only 17 yrs old one stuck in a 30 yrs old body, ML's life also stopped at 17 after the accident and him shutting down emotionally and away from other people or any kind of relationships for more than a decade. It is only together that they learn and grow and heal and mature, and move on from it. It is so so sweet. Plus you get an adorable baby Ahn Hyo Seop as SML on top of it, heh. And Jennifer is one of the best most quirky characters in Kdrama ever. The writers and actress do such a good job in humanizing and giving depth to what otherwise could have been easily an one note joke character.

I honestly enjoy it a lot more the second time around, since i don't need to feel anxious about when/where they gonna reveal the truth/ML finds out etc. Instead i can savor its many sweet and comedic moments, the stellar acting of BOTH leads (honestly Sejong can keep up with hyesun which is a compliment on its own) and the characters/story far more than first time around, where some misunderstandings/near misses frustrated and distracted me from doing so, heh. This is honestly one of the rare kdramas that leave you with a smile each time after watching an episode (or ten, bc i cannot stop, help)

Which one is better, this or Now We Are Breaking Up?I think fashion industry is a very boring theme for Kdrama,…
Perfume was a good watch in this regard, imo.

aww, this looks chaotic in the best way. Seems like Junghyun gets a lot of opportunities to let his talent for physical comedy shine haha

Ratings are super-inflated these days on MDL and more a popularity contest than a measurement/guarantee for quality.…
Yep that is definitely the case, particularly in the last months. Imo, ratings have long lost their meaning here (they get inflated either when there is a popular actor in it, a show on netflix has a definite rating bonus too etc) are just popularity contests by now. So to decide after mdl ratings what to watch instead in what you are actually interested in and give it a try has become/is really a bad idea tbh. Always judge for yourself instead to only rely on other ppl only since everyone's taste is different.

it is a true slow burn because they are two idiots in love that believe the other would never like them in this…
Yeah it is my personal fave of 2022 and sadly such an overlooked drama as well, so i won't get tired to yell about its greatness heh. YMMV, of course as in the end it comes down to personal taste, since i love me a well done slow burn romance and lovable, if flawed characters (character development is as gradual as everything else, particular for ML.)

Pro tip: definitely make room to watch up/inclusive episode 6 to see if you like it as for some (not me) its start may be a bit slow. And with/at eps 6 you have gotten the full backstory of the leads (well the one, at least, there are two, again for spoilery reasons xD) and their conflict being discussed and solved by them in a mature way at the end of it. Which in effect, will give you a much better idea of them as characters and the story in general :D

I just hope ISH don't eff it up, I like her, and I truly wish that she put effort and play genuinely. KJH setback…
I cannot help but feel that having ISH as FL to work with is part of KJH's penance tour 2022/2023 already *hides* She may be a nice person, idk, but she is definitely the type of actor that runs on looks alone, not talent. Like Cha Eun Woo.

Also i feel KJH's back will be hurting as much as i expect him having to carry this drama. So i fully agree to ISH hopefully not, at the very least, effs this up for him. He deserves so so so much better, especially after the shitty last years he had with his bad taste in women (personality-wise) and his unfortunate mental health struggles. I really want to see him shine again in what he is best - ACTING.

it is a true slow burn because they are two idiots in love that believe the other would never like them in this…
Honestly it is hard to explain without giving too much away. There are circumstances as to why it is so late, plot-related ones, so yeah. But basically ML falls for her hard and fast (eps 4) (and living in a world of denial) but since she is still crushing on her childhood friend (cop) at that time it takes her a while until she recognizes her feelings for ML. There are definitely many moments and a steady build up between them tho. It is really well done and their progress from bickering frenemies to supporting, chaotic partners in crime to "I will take a bullet for you but i won't say i am in love" is executed in a natural, adorable way. For both is it the first real love as their life had other priorities before, but it is a love of a soulmate kind... for reasons you will see, hehe. Tho as said, it is best if you watch it for yourself to find out more.

The drama is a great watch in general, warm and sad at times but also very funny too. The full package of genre and mood mix, imo.

I am rewatching and can we talk about how well this drama portrays ptsd and trauma? Like whoa, i forgot a lot about it but the way they visualize Woo Jin's flashbacks with pictures and sounds (the bell ringing throughout) his guilt and the way Yang Sejong portrays it so subtly and yet so heart-shattering raw and real (the way he clutches his ear, hunches over in pain/loses orientation/sense of presence, tries to self-soothe but fails... woooow) I am just so so taken aback how well and realistic it all is depicted.

Haha, awesome. So we are REALLY sticking to tradition here (technically FNOS started in April 2022, but hey lol)

Why?
It is badly written with an odd pace and focus on the most irrelevant/mundane things, thus its narrative starts many plot threats but amounts to nothing in the end. Terrible characterization without any depth. and wooden acting throughout on top of it,

One of the worst kdrama's i have ever seen. Waste of time honestly, save yourself.

Because it is shit, easy as.

Is this drama really that bad? 7.9 MDL rating for a K-drama seems exceptionally low where K-dramas on MDL routinely…
Ratings are super-inflated these days on MDL and more a popularity contest than a measurement/guarantee for quality. Always try for yourself if you are interested in a drama instead to depend on arbitrary numbers on a page. Plus in the end it always comes down to personal preference and taste anyway, so unless it is like under 7 or so, and everyone actively warns you about watching/wasting your time with drama xy (like with Woori The Virgin for example) free yourself from giving too much of a damn about it all and see/try it for yourself ;)

Wait.. What ?? Lmao stop it , don't ruin the webtoon any further.Cha Eun woo for seoha ? Does that make any sense…
Right? Like, what the hell did Shin Hye Sun do to be punished with Cha Eun Wood(en) as acting partner? Leave ma girl alone and with a capable ML instead that can keep up with her at least somewhat acting-wise, lmao.

This drama hasn’t aired yet & some people are already complaining. That is why when watching a drama or webtoon…
Yep, it is so fukkin weird. Even weirder how ANYONE could complain about Shin Hye Sun being the FL in this drama. Hello, you all should be grateful she will grace your screen with her acting skills instead, fr. She is one of the best, most versatile actresses SK has to offer with an incredible range, and is not called "quote queen" for nothing. Because people love her acting, they tune in to her shows and movies every time.

Like, saying "how will she be able to portray this role accurately" is so much of "tell me you have never seen a SHS drama without telling me you have never seen a SHS drama" that it hurts, lmao.

Yall really need to play catch up with her filmography and see her live each of her roles, and then we can talk about her being "miscast" for this drama. Weirdos.

Oh well, it got delayed.... but at least we are keeping the tradition of a Jin Ki Joo drama airing in May, then (She starred in "From Now On, Showtime" in May 2022, too) heh

What ep does the couple form at and how many ep does the break up last (if they break up)?
it is a true slow burn because they are two idiots in love that believe the other would never like them in this way, lol. So the confession is at the end of episode 13 and dating time in 14. Their feelings for each other are however clear as day long before that, it is just were it gets "official" hehe. You will see what i mean. Lots of blueballing the viewer tho haha

Break up? Lol, this sound worse than it is, but in episode 16 there is a bout of noble idiocy of ML "breaking up to protect her" for about five to ten minutes in the episode until FL waltzes into his hiding place and talks sense into her man. Literally, like the things she says feel so cathartic in regards of people acting with noble idiocy. and how stupid it is. Honestly the whole thing feels more like a lampshade and taking the piss toward the kdrama break up trope than it really being one. And it is used to mirror a prior iconic scene too, with them being at the same place for that and ML acting.... similar to someone else (vague bc spoilers you better watch for yourself)

Hope that helps. They are still one of my most favorite kdrama pairings with their clear, open communication , sheer adorable dorkiness and equal, protective/supportive partnership. Sunshine and sunshine protector, if you will (since ML Cha Chawoong is such a tsundere hahaha)

finally someone who agrees with me,hes mesmerising
He really is. I am watching, and holding out for YSJ in Temperature Of Love atm, because every time he graces my screen with his appearance and sheer broad range of acting skills i literally forget how much this damn story is needlessly padded out into 20 (40) eps, lol. YSJ is the only reason why i have not given up on that drama yet, lol.

He makes me rewatch TBS too, ngl, Him and SHS as leads are a match made in heaven acting-wise, tbh.

Aaaand we have reached the stupid middle part where characters do insane, illogical shit for conflict's sake to…
ooooofffff the drag is reaaaal. I appreciate the realism and the imperfect people instead of cookie cutter character types, but god, i wished the drama had tighter writing/pacing.

Honestly the viki timed comments were often times more amusing than the dragging middle of the drama, i laughed so much about them
