This was wayyyy before dating sites online, mind you. So we started off as emailpals, but over time we hit it off (started sharing our diary content etc.). So when we met in real life, it felt like meeting an old friend already 'coz we already knew so much about each other from our emails and text chats and the occasional phone calls (back then not possible to do video calls and long-distance phone calls were way too expensive to do daily or weekly).

Ahhhh, OK, well, someone a few days ago speculated it could have been Suying and an illusion or something. But your theory may be true, too, about trying to sever all affections hmmm...

Yep, I like the pacing. Not too fast, not too slow. Just right. The combo of everything is just right: the comedy, the heartwarming scenes, the background story (not too long and winding), the sad parts, too.

Yeahhhhhh...poor Yao Yao got totally triggered (many times over) to be back there seeing that scene and realizing he had changed because he couldn't take the sword etc. etc. etc.

We became an online couple before we met in real life (LOL!), then broke up (but all the time we still kept in touch and stayed friends), then I came to meet him first 'coz the love force was just too strong. During my first visit, he proposed to me (no rings or whatsoever, just stating his intention), then I got back to my home country, we saved money and prepared our wedding (so much paperwork), two years later we got married and again more paperwork before I could get my RP. We've been together since then (15+ years).
