Yes, I also like the reflective parts of the drama, such as when Simu asked "What is considered home? A place where your lovely memories are or beloved people reside?" (I paraphrased 'coz I don't remember the exact words, but it surely makes me think of the concept of home and what it means for me).
Just like when Duanxu asked his dad about the realities of arranged marriages vs the ones he actually loved. He was just chatting him up logically about how his dad flippantly said, "You can take the woman you love as your concubine", to which he replied, "Then why didn't you take the woman you loved as your concubine?" Followed by silence by dad. YAAASSSSSS!!! Drive that truth and nail it to the floor without having a heated argument. I felt so satisfied watching that scene.

I love how coherent and cohesive the drama has been so far, also in terms of how they care about each other but they know the gap between the two of them (thus Duanxu also left The Void after the very solid rejection). The rejection was also verbally explained in a very decent manner IMO. They have a real talk about why it's hard for her to want to start a relationship with a mere mortal (even giving proof) and I actually like the fact that Duanxu cries, but doesn't try to cling to her. I also get why she told him to cry, but not in front of her.
Also, in the mortal world, Simu is on vacay mode, but when in The Void, she's the ruler, so she has A LOT of responsibilities (duties, problems) to handle. So she's more carefree in the beginning.
She gets to show a lot more of her acting chops in this drama and I absolutely LOVE it!
Yeah, also in the mortal realm she's basically on vacay mode he he...I love the fact Dilraba can be both 100% elegant but she can also be SO cute (the kind of cuteness that doesn't make me cringe!). Usually people tend to be on one of the either side being stronger: whether more elegant or more on the cute side. But she can be both and be convincing in both.
Watching the two leads' interactions is like watching two people dancing tango. It's 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Phew! I was unconsciously holding my breath in many scenes. And that scene in ep. 12 is definitely my top 3 fave scenes ever.
