I watched the og youtube series and then the one where some scenes were redone on Netflix and this is exactly what happened???

I feel like people are tougher om this series bc they had the wrong expectations going in. It was pretty clear from the beginning this was more than a love story and more self exploration and growing with those around you growing. This was not an ending, it wad the beginning and represented real life romance and LGBTQIA romances pretty realistically which im so happy for. I hope they flesh out Kathleen more bc we really did see most of her negative side. I am wondering same thing as Alex, what does Pearl love about her despite all the crap she put her in? Super excited and happy to see the diverity of characters in a GL and a different but real plot and issues.

I want more of her S2 Pearl Next Door! Love her and hope she finds love again herself (the character). The actress has the brightest smile!

Not really. I think it depends on what your preferences are. I've liked some adaptations more than the OG and a lot of OGs greater than the adaptation. I think it depends solely on what the creators for either/or are willing to sacrifice and prioritize. I actually was hoping this adaptation would feel more like Strangers Are Hell adaptation in terms of tone and theme. This adaptation feels more cartoonish I feel in terms of tone. I don't know. Im already questioning if I should continue. I'll give it my best shot I suppose.

Read the webtoon. That'll give you some real terrifying monsters

It's hard having read the webtoon then watching live action. It would have been better animated. But if I have to judge it separately from the OG, given the high score, I suppose it'll be okay. I'm not even half way through the first episode and not liking the pacing and differences, however. I don't think the monsters will be as visually terrifying and original as the webtoon but I"ll give it a shot. It's just already unpredictable given the first sequence alone is in no part of the webtoon not even the end.

As a person who has been turned down by crushes multiple times, it's not the end of the world. He will find someone who will love him back in time.? Terrence isn't the one, but it doesn't mean he will never find them so we need that spin-off too! For now, check out Pearl Next Door loving it!

It had its issues, but it was enjoyable. Honestly, I think people are giving this drama compara to others a lower score bc of lookism. There are many dramas worse than this one that have hither scores and it baffles me but then I see the cast and realize the true reason. Anyway, back to this. Ending pulled through. Loved the cast.

Exactly. I've watched so many hospital dramas that I was expscting someone to lie and fight for power illegally. Maybe a secret murder lol really happy to see a power figure actually deserving the spot and not abusing it.
