Just commenting on this one too to remind readers of this person's comments that you are not gross for liking the omegaverse. Yes it has a lot of problematic themes present in it but so does every other genre. I challenge readers to reconsider their idea of sexuality being based on reproductive organs rather than gender expression. I also love the aspects of scent descriptions in abo because I am someone who is very sensitive to smells, I could identify every friend and family member based on smell. Oh I am by no means saying I would be okay with this in real life, its called "obsessed" for a reason. I think its supposed to make you feel that discomfort and show the extremes that love can push you to. I just disagree with people comparing this to much more serious scenarios and claiming that it promotes unhealthy relationships- I think the lesson is more that keeping secrets in a relationship and not communicating can be just as deadly as a car crash, and that obsession in a relationship ends up with hurting the one you're supposed to love.
