Okay, I tried to talk to you but you have been nothing but argumentative and hostile towards me. I'm not being self righteous, I saw you as a person worth respect otherwise I wouldn't have bothered commenting. There is clearly a disconnect between how we communicate and that's okay, and I am sorry that I made you feel like I was talking down to you. Your first comment just came across in a way I think you didn't mean, so I was just trying to figure it out. It sounded like you were implying that 30 is an old age, when- if I am understanding correctly- you were just commenting on GMM's introducing a new line of actors and doing a disney channel style phasing out and that was the joke. Actually the BL industry is evolving to serve a more mature audience, plenty of non-school aged stories already out there. I would suggest watching Old Fashioned Cupcake, Laws of Attraction, Cherry Magic, etc. Yes, there will always be a new engineering student drama- but to boil down thinking the entire genre is restricted to people under thirty is just incorrect. Also kinda seems like treating gay romance as sex appeal for teens rather than serious emotions and in-depth plotlines.

If anything they are nearing their prime right now, and implying their age is a reason to phase them out is actually pretty gross.
