I like Can we get married, but I'm a bit torn about it tbh. I thought it was refreshing that the drama showed the struggle of staying together instead of getting together. But there was a bit too much back and forth and especially too much meddling by the parents for my taste. So all in all I'd recommend it but be mentally prepared for the mothers^^ The secondary couple involving the female lead's aunt was really cute though :D

Yes, when I first started watching Asian dramas I was also surprised how much of a big deal characters made out of skinship. What I really like about dramas with older people though is that usually the main point is not about getting together but about staying together. Since that is where problems arise in real life^^
I tried thinking about it but I really don't have a favourite genre. Most of my favourite dramas are the ones that spoke to me on an emotional level, so that's the most important factor for me. From last year's dramas for example I like Empire of Gold a lot, because it was so well written and acted (especially Son Hyun Joo and Go Soo imo) but my favourite ended up being Two Weeks, because the hero's journey just hits closer to the heart.

Hab nach Mary Stayed Out All Night irgendwie ne Abneigung gegen Jang Geun Suk entwickelt >.<

Ah, I've already seen Can We Get Married with Sung Joon after SUFBB; so the hair in I Need Romance is not a big change for me xD Just going to pretend I've never seen his hair in Gu Family Book, cause that wasn't pretty^^

Hey, thanks for accepting :) I really like what you wrote in the "Dramas That Are Perfect For Me" section on your profile^^ I wish there were more dramas like that, but at least recently there seem to be some more that deal with 30+ people instead of younger ones^^
Interesting read! I think your reasons for why people didn't watch Empire of Gold are true^^ But imo it speaks for how well written and acted the drama is, when people enjoy watching the characters sit there drinking tea and talking about business for 24 hours :D
I think my personal favourite of 2013 is Two Weeks, simply due to the fact that it was able to make me feel for its characters the most. Other favourites would be Empire of Gold, Special Affairs Team Ten, Nine and Cruel City. Also I don't think I ever see Jang Ok Jung in any Year Reviews... did no one watch/enjoy it?^^
Wow, I'm positively surprised by the first two episodes. Will definitely keep watching!

Haha yes it's really good. And I still listen to the soundtrack a lot, I just really like Sung Joon's voice. Hope he will have a song in I Need Romance 3 too, since he plays a musician there as well^^

Hey^^ Thanks for the friend request :) Ha, your profile reminded me that I wanted to do a drama challenge for 2014 too, so I should probably think of some specifics soon^^
Just watched...like all korean dramas the first episode is good. But I think there are gonna be too many characters.…
I think you're watching this drama^^: http://mydramalist.com/korean-drama/8473/mother-needs-a-man

Hey!
One Warm Word gefällt mir bisher (6 Folgen gesehen) echt gut.
This non-ending makes me wonder whether they just kept the original pacing of the show that was planned for 24 episodes. When this show started airing they said they had already filmed half of the episodes and the cut was only announced a couple of weeks ago so maybe they had already finished filming 18 eps. It's the only explananation I can find for "ending" a show like that even though it doesn't make sense at all...
All in all this show just had too much misery and not enough basketball and engaging characters :(

Omg, I love DBSK! When I got into K-Pop I liked DBSK, Big Bang and 2NE1 the most and even though I like a lot of other groups too they don't come close to these three^^
Ah I was really conflicted while watching WIN. Both teams are great so I hope YG won't change the members of the losing team even if it will take a couple of years till they debut. At least that's what I'm expecting since YG is so slow with releases >.<
I guess I should really give Secret another try then when I'm in the mood for a melodrama^^
Man someone get Mi Kyung a therapist. Even if her husband cheated and doesn't feel sincerely sorry about it, trying…
I'm with you on that, they really need to be careful with developing Mi Kyung's character further in the crazy direction cause it'll just be too over the top. I'm really curious about Mi Kyung's past too though and her relationship with her brother, there really seem to be some secrets that we haven't been told yet.
Somehow this drama was enjoyable to watch if you didn't think too much about what happens, but it's kind of sad that for a hyped and probably high budget drama like this I enjoyed the scenes of Tan's mom and Eun Sang's mom the most...
Man someone get Mi Kyung a therapist. Even if her husband cheated and doesn't feel sincerely sorry about it, trying…
Well I still feel sorry for Mi Kyung because she cleary doesn't value herself. If your husband cheats on you and doesn't even sincerely apologize for it, the only thing left is to dump him imo. I agree with you on not really feeling sympathy for Eun Jin and Jae Hak though because they are old enough to know that affairs aren't right, especially since EJ has been cheated on before. The thing I like about this drama though is that things aren't either black or white. Everyone of the characters has made mistakes imo so now they need to learn from that and I really hope the drama will make them grow in a mature way instead of going all melo/makjang down the road.
Man someone get Mi Kyung a therapist. Even if her husband cheated and doesn't feel sincerely sorry about it, trying to suffocate him isn't going to solve anything D:
Also Eun Jin really needs to tell Sung Soo the truth. He's trying to make their marriage work again, the least she owes him is the truth.
