What did you think about the drama Secret Love? I see that you have it in your favourite list. I only watched the first two episodes when it came out but wasn't that impressed. Everyone keeps talking about it though so I'm wondering if I should finish it^^

Lol nice comparison xD Personally the basketball games didn't seem that long to me (up until the eps that i've watched at least) but since there's not a lot of episodes left I don't expect that they will take up too much time^^

Ja manche Buchstaben sind schon ein bisschen verwirrend in Hangul. Vor allem gibt es dann z.B. ?, ? und ? und da den Unterschied zu hören bzw. genau auszusprechen, wenn man's nicht von nem Muttersprachler lernt, ist schon nicht so leicht. Oder wenn in nem Schriftzeichen 4 statt nur 2 oder 3 Buchstaben stehen, bin ich mir auch nie sicher, wie dass jetzt ausgesprochen wird^^

Hey :) Ha, I just looked at your drama list and it really seems like our taste is pretty similar^^ You've seen a lot of dramas & movies already, when did you start watching?

Omg, I just really loved The Chaser! In my opinion it's a great drama, so I would definitely recommend you to watch it. It has great acting, good plot and characters, fast pacing and for me was also emotionally very intense. There is zero romance though and none of the typical characters that you usually find in K-dramas so maybe if someone was looking for those elements they would think of it as a bad drama. I also wrote a review here on MDL on it, so if you want to know more about my opinion on The Chaser, it's probably easier to read that^^

I suggest giving the 2nd episode a try because you get to see a different side of his character there. But of course if you really can't stand the characters don't force yourself to watch it^^

Good article, I like that you introduced how he started acting! Been keeping my eyes on him since White Christmas, but unfortunately Vampire Idol is still not fully subbed, so I'll wait with watching that^^ I've been hearing mixed reviews about A Gentleman's Dignity but I guess I'll have to watch it myself to find out whether I'll like it or not. Really looking forward to watching Friend 2 as well :)

Haha yes I see that you're watching a lot at the same time. I usually watch only one older drama aside from the currently airing ones so that it doesn't take me too long to finish them^^
Are you okay with watching longer dramas? My favourite historical drama is Queen Seon Duk which has 62 episodes. But it really was worth spending all the time on it imo^^ There's also Bridal Mask (one of the must watch dramas from last year), The Princess' Man and maybe Arang and the Magistrate (a bit slow paced but I liked the mix of historical with fantasy). You could also give Rooftop Prince and Queen Inhyun's Man a try. They're both mostly set in the modern time but the plot is about time travelers from the Joseon era, so some parts of these dramas happen a few hundred years ago.

Ah thanks for the link! I think those are the same subs I saw on Darksmurfsubs and those haven't been edited so far. If I understand their system correctly that means they were only translated from Chinese subtitles to English by a machine so that would explain the quality of the subs^^ I hope someone will sub it eventually since there's not that many K-dramas about the life of married couples^^

I really like K-Rock/Indie too :D I actually listen to a lot of K-Pop but there are so many great bands to miss out on if you only listen to idol music! What other Korean bands do you listen to?

Welche Mangas liest du denn noch?^^ Ich hab früher immer die Daisuki gelesen, daraus mochte ich Fruits Basket und Skip Beat am liebsten^^
Haha ja bei Koreanisch ist die Schrift auf jeden Fall viel einfacher zu lernen als bei Japanisch. Ist irgendwie leichter am Anfang im Koreanischen was zu verstehen, besonders wenn man viele Dramas schaut^^

I'm positively surprised by the first two episodes! It was definitely a good thing that you get thrown right into the story instead of spending the time with setting up events that lead to the actual plot. Haven't seen a drama with any of the main actors but I really like the cast so far!

Ah Sungkyunkwan was also my first historical drama and now I really love them. It's just too bad that so many of the classic historical dramas have a lot of episodes which is the main reason I end up watching others instead^^ Do you usually watch many dramas at the same time?

Doch interessier mich immer noch für japanische Kultur. Nur früher hab ich viel Anime geschaut und Mange gelesen, aber das mach ich jetzt eigentlich nicht mehr, weil ich lieber Dramas anschau^^ Und mittlerweile find ich die koreanische Sprache eigtl interessanter, deshalb schau ich auch so viele K-Dramas. Obwohl ich echt mal mehr aus anderen Ländern schauen sollte, ein bisschen Abwechslung schadet ja nicht^^
Ja, ist mir auch schon aufgefallen xD Aber BOF ist irgendwie ein gutes Einstiegsdrama. Jetzt wo ich einiges mehr gesehen hab, gefallen mir viele andere Dramas besser, aber so als erstes war es echt super^^

Achso^^ Ist ja cool, dass deine Schwester das auch schaut, dann hast du immer jemanden mit dem du drüber reden kannst^^ Ich hab mich früher wegen Mange/Anime für japanische Kultur interessiert und hab deswegen vor ein paar Jahren angefangen japanische Musik zu hören. Darüber hab ich dann K-Pop entdeckt und zu der Zeit war der Hype um BOF so riesig, dass ich's dann auch geschaut hab^^ Zur gleichen Zeit hab ich auch zufällig Arirang TV gefunden, wo gerade All In (ne ältere Serie aus 2003) gelaufen ist.

I didn't expect that they would really cut off San's finger D: But at least the writer seems to have decided now that San has suffered enough in the last couple of episodes. And I'm glad that we're getting back to actual Basketball since that is one of the main reasons I started watching in the first place.
