same here, same here, and I hope, no matter how will this project end, that it will lead to something new, to…
Yes! This is also my hope! They did great with Manner of Death - now lets go further and make this a new industry standard. More dark plots, with real life story lines and mature relationships - fingers crossed <3
Fr, I love how dark and intense this direction seems to be going. I know some prefer comedy or lighthearted stuff,…
You should read Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai manga - its a bit overboard but nicely done! or Bi no Isu and the sequels. You'll like it! - but they are very R-Rated ;)
In all honesty I'm enjoying the new direction of the drama - while the 1st trailer was good, I felt it was a bit too much on the fun side. I'm glad I saw no of the Uni stuff in any of the trailers (1st and the current ones) - would be good if they removed it completely. And made them older - at least they appear to be older so + there (I think in the novel they were barely 20 or something).
I mean this is a mafia story GO DARK, GO TWISTED, GO DYSFUNCTIONAL AND EVIL. And yes I do mean add the killing, torture, cheating, lying, drugs and all the other bad shit - those things happen in that world and only by using them can you make this show work. A mafia based drama should be 18+.
Am I the only one who constantly comes back to this drama whenever I want to watch something that is romantic…
I have seen it more then 50 times in my life for sure - and I feel the same way as you do. I will probably watch it multiple times more in the future, even tho I know it by memory.
You have good taste - friended you a long time ago :D
This is what I expected from the scenes in Don't Say No xD ehh...
Script has noting to do with it - it's the acting - make it convincing - I have seen many romances in most Asian countries and there is a certain way they do things - their own way. BUT Thai shows can show nice and natural looking romance/sex scenes - we have seen it - IT CAN BE DONE. This proves that well actors need to ACT to make it happen, not be ashamed and awkward. The issue I have with Don't Say No is that the couple knows each other for years + one is very experienced. They shared a lot of physical contact over the years so they should not be like this. I can literally feel the "I'm doing this cos it's my job" vibe, while they should be making me forget that they are being paid to do this, that it's not real.
Here with Mark and OuWen that's what I feel - I forget this is their job - I get invested and can feel the passion. At the end of the day this is the goal.
I'm starting to think more and more that Thai show runners think that the only thing they need to do is to give us a bunch of cuties bumping lips and whatnot. I like pretty faces as much as the next person - but if this is a romance and the plot is well thin - at least show me some acting skills.

Looking forward to the next teasers!

Sorry for the rant :P
